Blake is not completely finished with this project (only because our front yard is huge, NOT from lack of effort or motivation). So far we are super pleased and his work is MARVELOUS! We have hired and paid several prominent landscapers in the area, and not one of them comes close to this young man's talents. This is what has happened so far ( and I have personally seen him do all of this): Removed a very large, dead oak tree and smaller oak tree from front yard and cleaned up afterwards. He also cut a truck load of smaller pieces for camp wood, no charge. Prepped large front yard for sod, first spraying to kill what grass we had left, then raking the entire area by hand, going over it several times to smooth and get it ready. Removed all debris and properly disposed of it. Repaired irrigation system, which had never worked correctly, and has it humming like a top! Including adding 2 zones, piping, various adjustments and making sure there was proper water coverage for the entire lawn. Installed 38 pallets of sod, correcting high and low spots as he went and adding fertilization, pot ash and lime as needed. Installed one transformer and eleven landscape lights in gardens. Designed and installed landscaping plants for the front flower beds and an island in the yard. Blake has a great eye for design. I went with him to pick out plants...he looks every plant over from top to bottom and also considers the cost. He has an incredible knowledge of many plants and flowers and how best to use them. If you don't care for what he suggests, he quickly comes up with something else that would work. Not only did he plant $1800 worth of landscaping, he shaped it, trimmed it, and made my gardens look amazing. The next step will be the pavers. I have no doubt in my mind that they will be perfect. Blake has a positive attitude, takes pride in his work and is a pleasure to work with. No one, and I mean no one, has ever taken the time or care to go the extra mile that Blake has. He loves what he does and it shows.
