I am sorry for doing this so late. Mark and his assistant were excellent; on time, great communication and excellent value. The job was not a big one, so I loved that he was so excited and helpful about it. We had the new cabinets and counter top custom made; but I needed an install. Mark and his wonderful assistant removed the old cabinets, toilet , large glass mirror, light fixture and the old vinyl tile. They installed new ceramic floor tile and even suggested pulling out the base board and using tile edging along the wall. Classy!!!! They installed the new sink cabinet, new toilet and new hardware. Finally, I have an old framed, family heirloom mirror which they figured out the best way to install it and make adjustments to my new light fixtures. The room is beautiful! Thank you Mark!

The guy he works with is also a plumber. His work is first class. He is a very concerned craftsman. He is an older man and he has a lot of experience. He did a really good job. He is a superior craftsman. Before we started, he took my wife and me to a large hardware store to pick out the tile. He made suggestions and we wanted to do a border and he made suggestions on what to use for the border to match. He was quite helpful. We hadn't even paid him a dollar and we were just talking to him about doing the job. He was easy going and easy to get along with. He didn't have an attitude. He was a very pleasant man to work with. We got some other quotes and he was not low. He was near the high end but we decided to go with someone who knew what he was doing. We thought the price was reasonable. We made the right decision using him. We ran into a few minor glitches but it was partly because of how the shower was built. When we had what we thought was a problem with the grouting, he was right there to take care of it. He was very professional. We are thinking about having him retile our kitchen and hallway.

Mark did an excellent job. When he stripped the shower stall of the original tile and dura rock, we discovered that the plumbing was a mixture of PEX and old copper pipes. The plumber that Mark recommended, to work on the shower drain, looked at the plumbing. He felt this was the best time to re-pipe my 30+ year house. I agreed. This meant that the walls had to be opened in several locations, to allow the plumber to run CPVC pipe throughout the house. When the plumber was done re-piping, the drywall had to be repaired, by yet another contractor. Since a lot of this work had to be done in the bathroom where Mark was working, he had to wait. Because of this, what should have been a 3 day job turned into 5 day job. Mark never complained and waited patiently. The finished job looks great. Mark was not the least expensive of four bids, but obviously knew what he was doing.

Mark had a challange that I'm not sure many tile installers would appreciate. Mark spent a great deal of time with me discussing and planning each room before he started the job. Two of the bathrooms included textured, uneven, handmade tiles which he was able to incorporate into beautifully finshed rooms. The floor on one of these bathrooms has a dizzying black and white pattern which can be seen from the end of the hall, it was important that Mark make the floor visually correct. The third bath has tiles of uneven thicknesses and textures which Mark was able to make work together. The handmade tiles of the kitchen backsplash came with special installation instructions which required Mark's exceptional skill. The entire job is a work of art. Thanks, Mark
