Emergency Glass Service

There is a lot of so-called glass company's in the central Fla area. If you want to hire a pro with Integrity, then look no further than Randall Akkerman. This was a tough repair that no other glass company would take the time to consider. I knew it was going to be a tough repair and I was expecting to pay a premium to have it replaced. The problem that I found out is that there are NO true Glaziers in the business anymore. Not until i spoke with Randall and Rodger. Two guys did a job that all the other glass companies wouldn't even consider because it took skill and knowledge they didn't possess. I'm sure glad I found them and they will be the only Glass company that I call on in the future. Don't waste your time calling the rest of the glass repair companies in the business. First off a big thank you to JV Glass for taking on this project. The work performed was quality and the employees both friendly and professional. Very fair price. I will not hesitate to call upon this company again in the future.

The 3' x 6' wall mirror came loose from the wall; my I managed to brace it to keep it from falling completely and called Randall at Emergency Glass Service. They arrived within 2 hours, gently removed the mirror , and used the proper mastic to adhere it. The whole job took about a half hour. They worked fastened professionally. The job cost $200, which seems a lot, but I was paying for the fast service on a mirror that would have cost more than that to replace if broken. I would hire again

Outstanding service. Roger came when promised and measured. Glass was tinted and had to be ordered. He was back two days later as promised and completed the job. He was very personable and professional.

I liked that they responded very fast. I did not like that they could not offer me other services that I wanted and I ended up obligated to accept what they offered.

I received a prompt response to my text for a quote. I was able to set up service for the next day and the issue was fixed quickly at the quoted price.

The best part was their speed. The worst was the price.

I first called Randall on a Saturday morning. He gave me some excellent advice on securing the shattered pane, and scheduled to meet me at my home on the following Monday for an estimate. Randall communicated with me via text and phone, arriving as scheduled. He estimated that the glass would take up to 4 weeks to arrive. Three weeks later, he called me to set up an installation appointment. Again, great communication and on-time arrival. The installation went quickly and smoothly. I certainly would recommend him to family and friends.

When selling my house with a pending contract an inspector found 2 windows with missing and broken stabilizer bars on Wednesday.  I went to Angie's List and found Emergency Glass Repair and after reading reviews and the website, I called them for help.  I was impressed when my call was answered on the second ring by the owner, Randall Akkerman.  Quickly Randall had 
Ray, an excellent technician, out to inspect the windows 2 days later on a Friday afternoon (time was of the essence as we hoped to close on 4/15).  Ray quickly diagnosed the problems and repaired 1 window on the spot and let me know what parts he had to order to repair the second window.  He also took time to show me what repairs were needed and why.  As promised he phoned Tuesday of the next week when the parts arrived to let me know I could schedule a repair appointment.  On this same day I received a notification from the buyer's agent they desired a cash allowance for repairs and preferred to do the repairs themselves.  I phoned Mr. Akkerman and told him of the updated buyer request and offered to pay him for the trip and work the week before.  He was very kind and assured me there was no need to pay, they were glad to help and understood what had happened.
I was impressed with this company and felt I was treated more than fairly.  The owner is prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and fair.  I highly recommend this company for any glass repair or installation in your home; they are top notch professionals.

Randal and Raymond have replaced multiple windows in my home and have always done a wonderful job. They stand behind their work.  Price is competitive. Work is exceptional.  You can not go wrong with this company.

Wanted to remove a wood panel  with an A/C unit, and replace with glass, so that the whole enclosure would have all glass.
The technician that came out did an excellent job, and I am happy with the results.
It got off to a slow start and I had to make a lot of calls and be very persistent to get the job to completion over a period of four weeks. The actual job required only two days.

We had a baseball "incident" and a ball shattered our second story window. My husband contacted EGS and we decided to wait the weekend as it wasn't truly an "emergency." We had a few estimates. One company even came and said they didn't have a ladder to do it (they are in the WRONG business!). In any event, we got a quote and we were told that a technician would be out the same day and they gave us a two hour window. The technician called 30 minutes before coming, arrived about 30 minutes into the window, and began doing the work. He was pleasant, friendly, and did a great job. The window has an arch to it and he cut it right the first time. He sealed everything up and cleaned up and you'd never know he was even here. Everything is as good as new. We will definitely use them again -- but let's not hope it's for a baseball incident!

i arrived home to find out two windows had been broken by a golf ball. I live on a golf course and unfortunately this is not uncommon. I called Emergency Glass about 11 AM, got the VM and they got back to me in 15 mins. I explained the issue, measurement, type of window and he estimated 250. I accepted the estimate and he said he would send someone in the afternoon. Around 3 I got the call from the technician that he was coming and it took him 15 minutes to get here. He measured, took the broken glass out, installed the new ones and this took about two hours, the original glass was kinda glued to the pane and it took a long time to take out, the installation was fast though. At the end he presented the invoice for 250 dollars and I paid. Very satisfied with the service.

It went well! They took the old frame both top and bottom and the left and right rails. reinstalled,
 caulked and put sliding glass units back in place. it looks and functions well!
We were not sure if we would even be able to reuse the doors over after demolition to old tile in bathroom.
Much less expensive to reuse old doors than to buy new.
