When grinding the floor they scraped paint from pillars in several areas. Their response was: "well, paint couldn't have been put on very well". Stucco was scraped off of my house where it met the floor, in several areas. They claimed it could not have been their equipment but I am certain that it was. Paint or material was on areas it should not have been. Their solution was to rub it off "as best they could", leaving behind smudges and discolored areas. Texture or base coat splatter was over my shutters, house exterior walls and my front door.
As for the finished floor, I was told by John Orlando that clean up was simple and easy. Just use a wet sponge, he said. Well, the floor is very heavily textured and shreds any sponge. I'll take a wait and see approach but I am not looking forward to cleaning grease drips from under my grills.
Update
A few days after the job was completed, Alan did come out and touched up some areas with paint.
