custom cabinets, home remodeling
+ 0 moreAs I stated above, the overall experience with Mr Amick was awful, we only heard from him when he wanted more money for the project, we gave him 50% down, and the rest was suppose to be due when he finished, but he kept asking for more money along the way.
Description of Work: Total remodel of kitchen, gutted old kitchen and replaced and redesigned the kitchen cabinets, appliances. Scott sent out other people to do the work, that had not done the work before. He also told us he was experiencing employee issues, with the stain person quitting and the new stain person not matching the cabinets that had already been done. So he was having to start over and do it all himself, etc. The installation was done by one person and who couldn't lift a lot of the large pieces by himself so I had to help him, Im a female 5'2" about 125 pounds. It was difficult for the two of us to get it all in but we did, simply because we had no other choice. We started the kitchen in early June and it didn't get finished til late November! After Thanksgiving, which I had to change my dinner plans, because I thought our kitchen would be finish way before, but it was not. Scott Amick told us it would take 3 months to complete the make over, but it took 6 months, and at no fault of ours, we had the new appliances here and ready for installation, the new granite countertops were ready, we were always waiting for Mr. Amick to deliver the cabinets. I can NOT recommend him to my friends, who love the results, due to the unprofessionalism of Scott Amick.
