Chimney or Fireplace - Clean and Inspect
Bernard and his son from Aabrams Chimney Sweep were excellent—prompt, professional, and courteous. They arrived on time, conducted a thorough inspection of our fireplace, and clearly explained everything they found. Since the fireplace didn’t need cleaning, Bernard was honest about it and only charged for the inspection, saving us unnecessary costs. He also took the time to show me how the chimney flue works and gave helpful advice on how often we actually need cleanings, which was far more reasonable than what another company had told us. Since we had a 2nd fireplace, he looked it over and made recommendations but only charged for one inspection! It’s rare to find someone this honest, knowledgeable, and respectful of your time and money. I highly recommend Bernard and will absolutely use his services again.

Bernard came to the house when he said he would. Explained what was wrong with the flue, which he then fixed. Then went up on the roof to inspect the whole area and then remove the cap that was put there by the previous owner. He took pictures of the chimney proving it was clean. Then recommended what size and kind of chimney cap to purchase. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Bernard and his helper showed up exactly at 10:00 as promised. They were very friendly and efficient. My chimney was much dirty than I ever could have imagined. When they left they cleaned up everything and I didn't even need to sweep or dust. If yo haven't had you chimney cleaned I highly recommend Aabrams Chimneys.

Bernard responded within 24 hours to a voicemail. Was on time for appointment and performed exceptionally. Checked chimney which did not need to be cleaned. He brought several size caps to choose correct size. Replaced cap same day with high quality cap. Very pleased with work performed.

Bernard was awesome! He came and swept the fireplace and did an inspection. I needed to do a repair and he ordered the material and came back in less than a week and fixed it.

Wonderful! Mr. Aabrams was right on time and very professional. He inspected the fireplace and said it was clean (we had just purchased the house and wanted it inspected before we used the fireplace) and therefore didn’t charge us for the cleaning, just the inspection. He showed me where the chimney flue was and explained how to open and close it. He was honest and explained I only needed to have the fireplace cleaned every couple of years since we only use it half dozen times a year (another company told me yearly and charged double). Good, honest gentleman. I’d definitely recommend him and use him in the future.

I received a response quickly and an appointment for an estimate was made. He came at the time set and I accepted his estimate. A part had to be made and he gave me a call when it was ready. We set another appointment for the repair. He came and completed the repair on the day and time we set. I am satisfied with the responses and repair.
