Absolutely I would highly recommend Scott Blackman Roofing! Very pleased from start to finish. Professional, great communication, everything was on time, Inmar did a phenomenal job, and clean up and my roof looks fabulous! HOA is very happy, I am very happy and so will you be!

We noticed damage to our roof after a strong storm and called Scott Blackman Roofing because they had done other work in our neighborhood. They came out the next day to assess the damage and We were pretty hands off through the whole process. They promptly scheduled the roof repair, Scott JR came out with 2 of his associates (young but very knowledgeable) and finished in one day and it looks amazing! We're very happy we used Scott Blackman and recommend them to anyone who needs help. They are there every step of the way!

Hurricane Irma decided to remove a 20 foot section of ridge asphalt shingles from my roof. I called 20 different roofing companies. The only call back was from Scott. He arrived by 2pm. My home is now water tight again. Big sigh of relief. Thanks Scott.

Excellent job. Scott personally responded to our request for an estimate within one hour of calling. Work was started the next morning and completed in 6 hours. Very professional and thorough. Would definitely recommend Scott Blackman Roofing.

The leak was not repaired and the roof continued to leak. The contractor was called back several times and was given days when he could return but he never called back. Full payment had been made for the service. The initial work was done neatly and they came on time but the roof still leaks and did so shortly after the repair was completed.

Very responsive, professional and competent. Did an outstanding job of matching the new shingles with the 14 year old shingles. I know where the work was done and cannot tell the difference in the old vs the new shingles! He and his team were respectful and courteous throughout the process. Scott Blackman was honest in his analysis of the situation and went above and beyond in making sure I was a happy customer!

It was excellent. They were great. They came right out, fixed it and within a week, it was done. They were quick and had a lot of integrity in my opinion.

They were punctual and hard working. There were a couple minor issues that came up which caused me a little concern. I expressed my concerns and they were dealt with quickly and professionally and to my satisfaction. We have had several prolonged torrential downpours since the roof was installed and it has yielded no leaks. 

I would like to point out half way through the job I decided to change the locations and lengths of my ridge vents and add a couple thermostatic attic fans to address a home cooling issue I was having . They said "no problem" and went out of their way to make sure the product was onsite and available for installation the next day so as not to delay the completion of the job.

The manner in which they addressed the few concerns of mine that came up during the installation, instilled enough confidence in me to know should I have an unforeseen issue with the installation of the roof they will stand behind their work and take care up quickly and efficiently.

I have held off a few months before writing this review to insure the quality of their work was accurately represented. Bottom line is when I drive up to my home and see the tremendous difference the roof makes in the appearance of my home and I feel good about the workmanship for the very fair price I was charged...what else could one have to say but thanks for a job well done.

I would not hesitate in using their services again.

Replaced 10-15 tiles on the roof using extra tiles we had. Thought it was a bit expensive because they used our tiles, but the job was done quickly and professionally. We were very please with their service and would recommend them.

I called several roofing contractors..most would not even call me back. I guess the job was too small.  However, Scott called me back the same day and we set up a time for the install the following week. Scott explained the various options and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I told him I had some left over shingles if he needed; however, he said it wasn't necessary to gather them because he knew what kind/type the shingles I had. He brought new ones on the day he did the job and they blended beautifully.  He even took the time to reattach the exhaust fan cover to make sure everything worked properly. I would not hesitate to call Scott back for any future roofing work.

There was absolutely nothing that I liked. They were back here 4 times and I finally had to hire another company. I was extremely dissatisfied. Their response was terrible. I would have to call them but they would never call me. They didn't let me know what was going on. Their pricing and punctuality were fine. A neighbor of mine was having some work done in his house and he brought the contractor who was working on his house. I had him over, and he was outstanding and he fixed it. It cost me another $1500, but at least my roof isn't leaking.

They were very efficient. This was all done is one afternoon.  I haven't seen any problems since. They were great.

They did a wonderful job. You could not have asked for nicer people. I think the prices were very competitive. They are knowledgable which is  hugh thing because I have horses and they were very very clean and neat. They spread things around which could catch things that fallen off the roof. They had told me that they had worked for some other people and done big barns. They really did a fantastic job. I could not have been more pleased with them and will certainly go back to them.

I would give Scott Blackman Roofing my strongest possible recommendation for his excellent work, professionalism, and integrity.  
Also for completing a repair so quickly during the rainy season in Tampa.
Here's my experience:
My roof started leaking on Friday, really badly (to the point where I have a globe light in the hallway that was half-full of water).
Made my first call to Scott Blackman around 9 AM on Monday.  He was able to come to my home that day for inspection/estimate.
On Tuesday he had 2 workers out at my house to repair the leak. 
Wednesday evening we had one of the biggest downpours I've seen.  The hallway where the water had been coming in was completely dry.  :-)
I have no doubt that his timeliness in getting the repair done before the downpour saved my home from damage.
I have a few of Mr. Blackman's cards, and whenever any friends or family mention roof work, he is the one I am going to recommend without hesitation.

I highly recommend Scott Blackman Roofing. Scott came by and talked frankly with me about the options available to me for solving the "leaky roof" problem, including a written estimate for the method I chose to pursue. I was very pleasantly surprised by the cost - I consider it extremely competitive, especially considering that I had spent $2,000 last summer with a business (non-Angie's List, I hasten to add!) which did NOT fix the roof at all. If only I had discovered this honest company first! But, as the saying goes, you don't know what you don't know. 
NOW I know how to find reputable roofers, and I would recommend Scott Blackman and his crew to anyone. They were prompt, fast, and as neat as roofing could possibly be. They spread big tarps around my home at ground level to catch debris, and "swept" the grass with a magnetic tool which picked stray metal items up. This was very important to me, since I have horses who sometimes graze this area, and a puncture wound in a horses' hoof is a serious matter. 
There's no doubt this business gives you Grade A+ service.

Worked within my schedule, prompt, quick, clean, and polite.  A little on the expensive side for patching a hole in the roof and replacing a vent, but worth it.  I already called them to have work done on another building.

Once I gave Scott the OK and agreed on a date Scott and his crew of 2
arrived on time. They completed the job in a timely and professional manner. I
consider Scott an honorable and competent person. I highly
recommend Scott Blackman Roofing. The office support staff, Susan, was also very helpful in coordinating the work
schedule.

Overall, the job couldn't have done better.
From the install of the tarp to cover the old 5 1/2  which had been done totally wrong, to the complete removal of old to install, was just over a week.
Again, Super job all around.
 They were also able to recommend a team to repair the laundry room ceiling and a small portion of the kitchen ceiling.Who also did a great job.
