Professional from beg. to end. We were afraid of potential damage to our composite deck which was extremely close to this approx. 25 yr. old tree. Chris was very reassuring and the crew padded the deck for protection. I also believe that the job went so smoothly because Chris is very skilled at his job. The crew worked well together.

They come out every year. We have an Oak tree in the front, we have them come out and thin it out every year. They have always been fine. We even us them at where I work at a golf course. I need to actually, call them, because we’re late this year. It’s a big Oak. They’re professional, they always have good equipment. I just tell them what I want and they usually call back. They usually give me a couple different days they could come, and we pick the one that works best. They communicate good. My wife will quiz them about the Oak every time, like how is it doing. They give it like a checkup too. They come out and have their trucks or whatever. They clean it up, there’s never a mess. It’s pretty good.

It went great. We had a Mango tree that was not producing fruit and it was making a mess. It was supposed to be the focal point of the back yard and it got out of hand. We have them cut in down and grind the stump. Then we redid the back yard, we added different trees in. They had it down in no time. They came in and they did great. It didn’t even take the whole afternoon.

They cleaned up really nicely, polite, and were on time. They had a large enough crew who really got the job done in less than a half a day.They were also the best bid after 3 Angie's List bids. I hit the jackpot when I hired them. They did a really awesome job.

They always do a very good job and very fair pricing. The workers were excellent. I have used other companies before but they are at the top of their game. When you call them up, they respond right away. They come out and give you a free estimate for the job. When they say they are gonna be there they are there, usually a head of time. They go right to work, don't waste anytime, get the job done, and clean up after the job is done.

This is the third time we have used Yutzy's Tree Service in the last year. They are a family owned and run business. They respond quickly to a request for an estimate. They are very professional and always thank me for calling them for the work. Their price is reasonable, they show up within the window of time, and they clean up all of the mess. I highly recommend the company for your tree needs. They know what they are doing, and have an arborist on staff.

I set up 4 appointments with tree companies from Angie"s list who had good ratings and also an Arborist on staff. We chose Yutzy because they seemed to be very professional and understand what we needed to be done.The date for the service was set and the workers showed up on time. About half way through the job the foreman knocked on the door and said they needed to get into our neighbor's driveway in order to cut one of the trunks on a big pine. Before the date of the job there were 2 occasions when arborists from the company had been in our back yard and nothing was ever said about making arrangements ahead of time with our neighbor in order to cut one of the pine trunks. My neighbor works out of her home and is often on live computer meetings where she can not be disturbed. She was not able to move her car at the time the workers needed her to that day. The foreman in charge (Tony ?) said they could come back the following week. I mentioned to my neighbor that they would be back the following week and I could let her know the day they would need to be in her driveway. I also mentioned that we would be out of town and she said she would prefer to not have them working on the trees using her driveway when we were not there to supervise. I respected her request and let Karl Yutzy know that we would need to set up the appointment to finish the job when we got back in town. He acknowledged receipt of my message. Apparently there was no communication between the owner of the company and the workers. We got a call the following week, while we were out of town, that they were at our house trying to take out the tree down and knocking on our neighbors windows and doors to get her to move her car! Our neighbor was , again, on a work call and could not get her car moved. Needless to say our neighbor was extremely upset. She stated to me that she did not want the tree company on her property again and felt a total lack of respect for her work with not having things set up ahead of time.
I told Karl Yutzy that this could have all been avoided if someone had told us ahead of time that on the date of the tree service we would need to request that our neighbor have her car moved out of the driveway.
Eventually they were able to bring a tree climber out and take down the tree without using our neighbor"s drive.
I feel that Karl Yutzy should have delivered a written note to our neighbor stating it was his screw up, not ours, that caused all this distress.
I told Karl Yutzy that this could have all been avoided if someone had told us ahead of time that on the date of the tree service we would need to request that our neighbor have her car moved out of the driveway.

I left a message on your cell, as well as a follow up email to let you know when we would be on site. I am sorry the communication did not reach you in time. We would not have attempted to reach your neighbor had we known that she was not to be disturbed. On a separate note, I have not attempted contact with your neighbor because I was being respectful of her wishes that nobody step foot on her property unless it is an emergency. My assumption was that nobody from my company should not attempt any communication with her. I would be happy to send her a note if you feel that my assessment was incorrect. From the initial estimation visit with Tim Coppola to the day of the service, it was a good experience. They are so courteous and listen to exactly what the customer wants.
The day of the service the crew showed up on time and worked steadily without breaks. Along the way the manager would ask to take a look, or tell them exactly what I wanted.
I would certainly have them again. and would definitely recommend them.

Reliable, professional, fair and easy to work with. Friendly and knowledgable. I would definitely use them again. They talked wth us and explained what they would do and how they would do it. They came when they said they would come. Didn't ask to be paid until the job was completed. All the work was completed for the estimated price. It was a pleasure doing business with them !!!!

One word: ?Professional? at every level.
The Laurel Oak had heavy lean toward the house due to severe trimming done by the power company over the years to protect the power lines. Access to the tree from front and back of the house including access to neighbor?s yard to clear overhanging limbs, plus coordinating with the power company to temporarily cut service to the neighbors was a challenge.Yutzy Tree Service: had the ?equipment?, had the connections and talent to overcome all these issues and they were price competitive.
The job, given its size and degree of difficulty, was scheduled for two days. You could tell that Paul and his team have worked together for a while and ?work well together?.We had no less than 2 Duke Energy Field Representatives comment on their professionalism saying: ?You picked the right guys for this job.?
Regardless of the size of your job get an estimate.

Fantastic team that works together to climb tall trees and cut branches hanging over house. Wasn't sure how they'd do it without hitting the house, but they did! Cleaned up the big mess. Very happy with the tree work, I would not hesitate to use this company again.
