After going to many companies asking for colonial shutters and getting everything but that, Kerry Castle showed up for our appointment with a beautiful sample of an emerald green colonial shutter...exactly what I wanted. This set the tone for my experience. The workmanship on the shutters was excellent, Kerry's status reports clear and accurate, and the installation was perfect. Kerry even explained that I had asked form some of the most expensive shutters on the market. They showed up on time, and did careful work. His installers were extremely curtious and helpful. I got detailed instructions on how to close them in the event of a storm and they numbered all of the parts so that anyone could close them easily. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I got what I wanted when I wanted it for a reasonable price and they were installed with care and courtesy. The best part is my hurricane shutters look beautiful on the house and will protect it in a storm.

* MR. KASTLE RETURNED MY CALL THE SAME DAY THAT I LEFT HIM A MESSAGE.* HE MADE AN EVENING APPOINTMENT FOR 2 DAYS LATER. I APPRECIATED THE FACT THAT HE WAS ABLE TO MEET IN THE EVENING, WHEN BOTH MY HUSBAND & I WOULD BE HOME.* HE SHOWED UP ON TIME.* HE WAS NICE TO OUR DOG WHO JUMPED ALL OVER HIM.* HE WORKED OUT A FIRM QUOTE.* WE GAVE HIM A DOWN PAYMENT FOR HALF THE AMOUNT OF THE TOTAL BILL, & AS FAR AS I COULD TELL, HE DID NOT CASH THE CHECK UNTIL HE DELIVERED THE SHUTTERS. * I TOLD HIM NOT TO EXAGGERATE ON THE POTENTIAL DELIVERY DATE. HE TOLD ME 4 - 6 WEEKS & THE SHUTTERS ARRIVED IN 5 WEEKS, SO I WAS PLEASED ABOUT THAT. (THE NEIGHBORS ORDERED SHUTTERS FROM ANOTHER COMPANY & WERE TOLD 8 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY - AND THEY GOT THEM 5 MONTHS LATER.) SO OVERALL IT WAS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH MR. KASTLE/WINDOW SAVERS.

Hurricane shutters are fine. I was surprised at the lack of communication and amount of excuses by Mr. Castle. I came home from work expecting job finished, as promised, and make final payment. The job was half done and my property was a mess with metal shavings all over my driveway & car mats I had scrubbed and left to dry. Mr. Castle failed to tell me what was going on. I called him and got excuses about how they measured wrong etc. He said he would be out on Saturday, did not show up and did not call. He called days later. He finally came out to deliver the remaining shutters that had to be trimmed to fit. When he did arrive, I asked if he was going to label the panels, as was in the contract. He asked if I had a marker (he did not). I also asked if he was going to clean up the job site. There were still piles of dust on the window ledges where they drilled holes and metal shavings on my driveway & mats. He did wash my car mats. He did not communicate well & not very professional.

KERRY CASTLE DELIVERS WHAT HE PROMISES. HE MEASURES METICULOUSLY. HE KEEPS IN TOUCH EVERY OTHER WEEK TO REPORT PROGRESS. HE AND HIS INSTALLERS ARE PLEASANT AND EFFICIENT. REASONABLY PRICED, TOP QUALITY. ALSO SELLS ACCORDIAN AND BAHAMA SHUTTERS. VERY RESPONSIVE TO INQUIRIES, ALWAYS DELIVERED WHAT HE PROMISED. I HEARTILY AND UNCONDITIONALLY RECOMMEND HIM.
