KC came to measure the area, made some suggestions, and returned the next day with large samples in the color I requested. He explained the differences in carpet construction and materials and left some samples so that I could see them in different lighting and times of the day to help my decision-making. Once the decision was made, he quoted a reasonable price, including pad and installation. From the time I ordered, it took the 2-3 weeks for delivery, as predicted. Installers arrived promptly and completed the job perfectly. Phone calls to the office were answered by a real person (!) and all inquiries were answered. The floors look and feel great!

Bill and his staff were excellent. The installers were punctual and polite. I would highly recommend and will certainly use again.

Even with the hurricane and no power they brought gas for our generator that was almost out because we couldn't find gas anywhere. 20 x 10 room done in an hour and cleaned up properly. Good People!

From purchase to scheduling installation and final install, all went very well. They are a nice family business to work with and we will use them again. John did an excellent job with our installation.

The problem was with the independent installer provided by the company. They did a poor job of fitting and damaged the woodwork. The company was quick to respond to my complaint and sent out another installer to do repairs as best they could.

They were excellent. I dealt with Lisa who was extremely helpful with picking out the type and color of carpet. When I needed her expertise, she was very good. When I called they always called and came on time. The installers were right on time. They did everything they were suppose to very well and then they left. Now I have nice, new carpet. It was a pleasant experience.

FANTASTIC!!! After much research this is hands down the best company for flooring. I priced and spoke to most flooring companies in Pinellas who had good reviews and no one could come close to their price or service. They really went the extra mile to make the sale and make a customer. They spent extra time to get the specific pad that I wanted, which was not part of their in stock inventory, and still gave me a better price from any other retailer. They never pushed for a "lets get it done now" sale and let me take the time I needed to be sure of the style and color. Installation was excellent and the crew was professional. They walked me through the install and made sure we were happy with the product prior to leaving. Traditionally I am not one to write long reviews but it has been a long time since I have found a company that treats their customer so well and still provides the most competitive pricing in the market place. Thank you!!!

They were prompt, courteous and reasonably priced. I will probably call them back in the future to finish another part of our house in the future.

Wow, what teamwork. This company is fast, professional, and great prices. Our carpet looks great. We replaced the carpet in several rooms in our home. The communication on when the carpet was ordered, to its arrival to the schedule date was great. The install team knew what they were doing and had the carpet installed so quickly. It went very well, I was pleased. I have some unusually large furniture and they worked hard to get it moved and put back. The carpeting is very nice, the owner of the company did a great job helping pick out the right product. He have helpful hits to give you some direction. They beat out in price some of the other "A" rating carpet companies on Angie's List.

I contacted Wholesale Carpets to see if they could perform the repairs even though the carpet was not purchased at their store. I explained that the retailer where we had purchased the carpet had closed. I received a reply from Bill who took my information and then told me he would call be back. Bill called me the next day and told me that they would be glad to help and set up an appointment for one of his Carpet Installers to come out to our home. Wade called me the morning of the appointment to set a time when he would be at my home. He also called me when he was on his way so that I had time to leave work and get home. Wade examined the carpet and told me he could stretch it out to get rid of the bumps which would only take about twenty minutes. Wade immediately went to work and finished as quickly as he said he would. I really appreciate that Wholesale Carpets took the time to help me and I will definitely go to them when it comes time to replace the carpeting in our home!

We shopped several places before going to Wholesale Carpets, and found them by far to be the most helpful. Mike, ours salesman,  took the time to determine our needs and suggested the best type of carpet to fill that need. We took several samples home and decided that day what we wanted. Mike's brother, KC, scheduled an appointment with us to measure and give us an exact dollar amount. He was on time, efficient, and a really nice guy. The carpet/color we chose was not in stock and had to be manufactured. Mike called me several weeks later, just as he said he would, and scheduled the install.
The installers were on time and very professional. We have some large pieces of furniture, but they moved everything with no problems. Removed all the old carpet/pad and did a thorough cleanup. Carpet looks great!
The price I was quoted was the price paid. No surprises and no add on's.

They were wonderful to work with.  They were very professional as well as accomodating.  We were really pleased with the end result.

I really didn't know where to start with finding someone to come out and do a job like this, but I am happy that Bob Gross with Wholesale Carpets in St. Petersburg, FL was the first business I called.  He listened to my problem, and was professional and helpful.  He arranged to have a couple installers come over and do the job for me, and they could not have done a better job.  They replaced the pad, and relaid the carpet all for $125 which I thought was extremely reasonable--I gave these workers a tip as they really did an outstanding job--you would never know we had a major flood.  Thank you, Wholesale Carpets!

Working with Lisa was great - she knows what she is doing!  The guys who put the carpet in were professional and not "creepy".

OUTSTANDING!  Mike and Bill, company owners, provided excellent service from the time we first contacted them throughout the entire experience.  Very willing to work with us, provide assistance in whatever way.  David and Matt, who actually installed the flooring, did an OUTSTANDING job.  There were a lot of unusual angles in the floor plan, but they just did a super job of overcoming all obstacles, did a perfect job.  Will be using this company in the future for additional jobs!
