"We are very sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction and wish to do whatever we can to change your experience to positive. We were hired to sand and refinish your existing hardwood and the hardwood you just installed yourself in the kitchen (completely different pine than is in the rest of the home). We offered the option of staining to match the two different woods but to save expense we were asked to attempt to tint the new flooring in the kitchen to match the existing dark, heavily sanded wood in the rest of the home as close as possible. After the job was paused so that you could install air conditioning, we returned and did the kitchen floor again. This tint attempt gave some added color but not enough to match (it was advised that this process was going to take several attempts). We suggested that after the rest of the work was completed at the home, have us back out to complete the tint applications to try to better match your two wood floors. We have not heard from you until this review. Please contact my office by phone, text or email (you also have our cell phone numbers). We would like very much to resolve and complete this job for you but we need your cooperation and communication to accomplish that. We hope to hear from you. Also, when jobs are paused due to circumstances not of our making, we ask to be paid for the work performed to date. You and I agreed to settle-up for 90% of the balance, leaving 10% upon completion of the final tint attempts (tint you were never charged for). But later when time came to pay, you changed your mind and asked to pay less than we had agreed to. I believe it is tremendously exaggerated to use the term harassed. I apologize if you truly felt that way. There seems to be much misunderstanding and some miscommunication at play here but nothing that cannot be addressed and resolved with communication. Please call us and let's fix and finish this."
