Varret Construction Inc

I found Varret at a home show and told them that I had chosen cabinets and tile and needed drywall work, plumbing, electrical, painting, cabinet installation, tiling, wainscoting, etc. and asked them if they would get permits and do the work. Their representative came out to my condo and we discussed what needed to be done. He asked me if I would like to replace the windows in the adjoining room and I said I was not planning on it but if he wanted to give me a separate estimate I would consider it. Several weeks later he called back and only wanted to talk about the windows. I said that since they would cost so much he should forget the windows and get back to me with and estimate for the work I originally asked for. I was then told that if I wanted permits that the work would take a month and require 19 inspections. I asked him to get back to me with an estimate. I heard nothing so I called and found out that inorder to give me an estimate they would need to come out to the house again to find out what I wanted. I indicated that we had already been through that and could they please send me an estimate. They said they don't do estimates as it is too much effort but just give a price and if you agree then they will write up a contract. I told them to forget it.
