Alex and his team did a wonderful job on our home. We received numerous compliments after they completed the work (and still do!). We had 100% confidence in their abilities and we were thrilled with their work.

I was torn between two different color schemes and Alex helped me decide which colors to use and which to put where. They were professional and responsive and kept in touch with me regarding when they were going to be there and what they would be doing. They were not the cheapest but they had great experience and recommendations. I am very happy I chose Tropical Painting and I would definitely use them again.

Although not the cheapest quote, I went with Tropical Painting for to their experience and good reviews. I am pleased with their work and would contract with them again. Alex and his two man crew pressure washed, then scraped the wood siding of any loose material on my nearly 90 year two story and garage. Then applied quality caulk, primer and sealer. Paint used was all quality Benjamin - Moore. This included base plus 3 additional trim colors. They also did a small amount of wood rot repair. Alex was able to work with me on last minute changes. Everyone conducted themselves in a friendly and professional manner. Post work clean up was great.

Dealing with Alex. Mike and Joel was a fantastic experience! These gentlemen were constantly professional, courteous and prompt. They not only painted but repaired numerous rough spots. We have received many compliments on the newly painted house. I would recommend them to anyone.

If you need your house painted, do whatever you can to get Alex and his crew on the project! We had to wait many weeks to get on his schedule, but it was well worth it.
They start with a thorough power-wash of the house. That's followed by a thorough scraping of loose paint. Filler is applied to smooth out the rough spots, then the real fun begins! The color starts to appear!
Alex recommends a very high quality paint, and we we're thrilled with our choice of Sherwin-Williams. Alex helped us with color choices, and made recommendations as we went along. Everything we asked for, he cheerfully did. He is an expert at painting houses and we recommend you listen to his suggestions. 
By the time his crew was done, we not only had a visually stunning paint job, we had a well-protected house that will last for years to come.

Alex is a perfectionist and has an excellent color sense and helped me choose paint.  This project took a long time because there was a lot to do.  He and his helpers were here daily and worked mostly a full day.

the job involved the exterior painting of a large house with an extensive wall surrounded by plants. Alex arrived promptly; he carefully reviewed the grounds, made suggestions regarding approaches and provided a very detailed estimate within 48 hours.  It took us some time to decide on the colors and Alex patiently provided us with samples to mull over while he scheduled us in.  Alex personally participated in painting and almost constantly supervised the work.  He would leave only for short periods when he had office work or other administrative tasks to get done.  The job took about two weeks and I never felt anything was ever rushed to finish.  When finished we reviewed every detail. If we found anyhing not quite right (very few) Alex corrected.  You can't do better.

The whole process went very smoothly & just as expected aside from the weather delays.  Alex & crew were very friendly and did a fabulous job.  We are very happy with the results.

He is an excellent salesman and has a great personality when you first meet him. But as he came to do the work his personality changed, he would become nasty and threatening. He demanded his money and left before the job was finished. On some of the trim and the building itself you can see the paint underneath because they only did one coat. There are places where the paint is chipping off and the whole thing is just an eye sore. He charged over $700 for receipts of items that were for other customers, items that we didn't even need, and also for colors of paint that weren't for our house. The total cost of the work greatly differed from what they originally quoted; they quoted $11,300 and the end it cost $19,600 but we retained paying him $1,000 so he could do the job right.
