The Lawn Rangers

It did take a while to actually get in touch with them--I should have really looked elsewhere when it took multiple calls over more than a week just to get a phone call returned. When I finally got in touch with them, they said someone was sick or something and they got behind in returning calls. They apparently did mow the lawn at some point in June (don't know exact date), but since then they've apparently not had us on the schedule--they never billed us for the service, so I don't really know what happened.
It looks like they are either going out of business or have too many customers to handle. This is a problem with Angie's list--a company with a good price and good ratings either raises its prices, stops taking customers, or tries to keep taking on new customers and falls apart in customer service. It would really have been better if they could have just told me they couldn't take on new customers. Perhaps another bad review will relieve them of that problem.

I have been with The Lawn Rangers for about a year and they had been doing really well until recently. They missed appointments throughout the month of February. I had to call each time to see why there were not coming to my home. Since then, I've had to call them 2 different times in the last 8 weeks to see when they were coming to cut the lawn. They are supposed to come every week during the summer. He did leave a note apologizing and that he wouldn't let it happen again and then he didn't show up on Monday.

I contacted the Lawn Rangers to replace my current lawn service. They came out while I was at work and gave me an estimate of $79/month. I thought it was reasonable, so I agreed to hire them. They came and mowed my lawn while I was away on a trip, so I never got the chance to talk to anyone. (This was on 6/13) About 8 days later, my grass was noticeably long, so I phoned the Lawn Rangers. I got voicemail, so I politely reminded them that I was a new customer (in case they forgot about me), and asked if they could call back and give me a day when they would be by to mow. I received no return call. It was now 10 days after the first mowing and I called again. I got voicemail, and again left a message asking for a return call to let me know if they were coming out sometime soon, or if I should mow it (or get someone else). Again, no return call.
I have sent them a check, which they did not cash. Now, I have stopped payment on the check and am out $33. I think it's a shame that an and quot;A-Ratedand quot; company is so unprofessional that they cannot even return a call to say, thank you - but we won't be servicing your lawn. I would have accepted that and been ok with it. Instead, I waited for service to continue without any consideration from this company. Very Rude. I would not recommend them, just because of how unprofessional they have been.

I just purchased a new home with a yard that was overgrown so I called the Lawn Rangers to provide a quote for a 1 time cleanup and weekly/biweekly lawn service. The price they quoted was reasonable. They mowed the lawn, applied weed and feed, edged, blew off all the hard surfaces, raked garden beds, trimmed all the shrubs and cut back branches on some of my trees and hauled everything away. The place looked amazing! I'm having them come back to mulch the garden beds and put sod down in some areas, They were hard workers and very professional. I am very happy with the service and I would definitely recommend them!

As a trial experience with using a service for the job, I began by having the Lawn Rangers simply cut and edge the lawn. After a few weeks, I added weeding and shrub-trimming to the monthly contract. They do an excellent, very efficient, very professional job. They do in a few minutes what would take an amateur most of the day. Everything about their appearance, methods, work habits, manners, and behavior is very professional and makes an excellent impression. Everything is cleaned up perfectly before they leave. My yard looks better than ever, and I would recommend their services to any homeowner. You will be happy to have them working on your street.

The Lawn Rangers have been doing our lawn service for years and we've had no problems. Our yard always looks neat and professionally done.
