When Daniel delivered my first purchase, I asked him to look at some of my pieces with an eye toward buying them or "pelicanizing" them [working his magic on them with paint and distressing.] I was astonished by his response. Concerning a rocker, he took one look and said, "You don't want to sell this. It's about 18th century and, with some TLC, will be worth a lot more than you might think." He could have bought it from me for a song and sold it for a hefty profit and I would have been none the wiser. He chose not to do so. With a second piece, a washstand, he suggested an application I hadn't thought of and I decided to keep it rather than sell it. A third piece [a monk's bench] he painted and distressed at my request. He did a great job, too. And he bought a number of other pieces I no longer had a use for. The point, here, is his honesty. You can be certain his items are priced fairly and, if you have things to sell, he will give you fair prices for them as well. And, if you have a diamond in the rough, he won't take advantage of your ignorance of that fact.
Description of Work: I have bought a number of items [primarily furniture] from the shop. I've also had Daniel in to buy some of my old pieces.
