Excellent work and extremely responsive.

Great group of employees! Each had their job to do, they were prompt, organized, adequately equipped and completed the entire job in one day including stump grinding. We would hire them again. The price was very fair.

We are extremely happy with the job that was performed, it was professional done, done with care to the surrounding trees and homes. We are also very happy with the price. Bill and his team did a fantastic job, we will definitely be using you in the future.

The work was done timely and the team did a great job cleaning up after. Initially met with Bill to scope out work, which was described in detail. The work was done in a time frame that was promised and we did a review when done. Great job and will not hesitate to use again in the future. Thank you.

The crew did a beautiful job of reducing and shaping all 3 trees in an energetic and efficient manner. They cleaned up all the debris after and even made it look nicer than before they were there. We had leave piles in front and debris in our back yard that they hauled away with their debris. That was such a nice surprise.

Beware of Sustainable Tree Care. They are not honest in their dealings with their customers. We hired Sustainable Tree Care to remove a Sycamore tree from our front yard, grind down the stump 24” wide x 24” deep, the required space needed to plant a new tree in our yard. Sounds fairly simple, right? The men who came out to do the work seemed very knowledgeable about tree care and did a good job of cleanup which impressed us at first. At the completion of the project, we asked the men if the hole left under the mulch covering was 24” wide x 24”deep, for our new tree to be planted. They assured us that it was as we requested and probably even slightly bigger than that. That did not happen. The men never did grind down the stump. We called Bill, the certified arborist with Sustainable Tree Care that promised us the stump would be taken care of as we request that following Monday. We even called the owner/operator, Danny Tomas of Sustainable Tree Care and left a message for him explaining the incident. Bill’s crew did not show up on that following Monday to complete the job and we never heard back from Bill or Danny Tomas. Lesson learned.

Good. They did a good job and even did stump grinding.

Great, Very efficient and great clean up

Once they finally arrived the job got done...not too puctual.

I had originally contacted this company and they came out and we discussed what they were to do., They ended up actually cutting down a citrus tree that I didn't want cut down as well as neighbor's tree. I wasn't impressed with the clean up I asked them to do either. They were also a little more expensive than I thought reasonable. I saw on the flyer I received from the company that they offered a discount for Angie's List members, however when I asked about it, they said they no longer offered any discount, which I thought was disappointing.

Provider came right away to assess my tree needs and advise me of work needed. Once work purchased they came to my house in a timely manner and took care of the work, cleaned up and went about their business. Danny called back to make sure the work was done to my satisfaction. Was a good experience and would use them again. Bill is very knowledgeable of trees and maintaining their health.

Danny was awesome!  He and his team came out and quickly got to work, they trimmed two huge trees in my front yard, raised the canopy on these trees to bring in more light, removed an old, invasive tree and trimmed a palm tree in my back yard.  I purchased the big deal and only had to pay an extra $250 to get all of that work done.  They were professional, quick and clean, they left my yard clean without debris.  I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Danny and his crew were exceptional. Danny came out to assess what needed to be done to remove a large brittle tree overhanging my house with little room to work with. He took care of all the permitting. His crew was very careful and I could tell they knew exactly what they were doing. They made me feel very comfortable doing the work and each one of his guys were very pleasant as well as cleaned up their work area when they were done. Since then they have also done work for other family members and each one of them have been 100% satisfied. This is one of the best equipped tree service companies in the area. They have all the right equipment and are the nicest people. I feel very comfortable knowing Dan or Bill will make any situation right if I ever have a problem and can trust them without doubt. THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!!

Unfortunately, I was out of town when  the project took place.  The only issue was when they got the permit, the City required the planting of a new tree.  Bill and/or Danny should have informed me of the permit details before cutting down the tree, however, afterwards they assisted me with a new tree conforming to the City requirements.

Danny and his crew worked very hard to ensure the job was done safely and correctly. I was concerned how they would remove this large tree that could easily fall into the house if not done correctly. After meeting Danny and walking around the yard, he explained how they would approach the project, and how much time it would take. Danny was pleasant and very easy to work with. He was here in the early morning and worked with his team to take the tree apart piece by piece, carefully ensuring the safety of his workers and my home. It was no easy task but they finished in a day, they came back to grind the stump and finish putting up the fence sections the following day. I was very pleased with his work, his honesty and the pricing he gave me. He made it a very easy decision to work with him, and I will use his company for all my tree care needs in the future. Highly recommended.

I have taught myself a lot about tree care because of having so many on my property.
It was a very pleasant  2-hour estimate appointment. It could have taken less time, but I was thrilled to have such an unrushed session, because of my interest and desire to be involved as much as possible in the work that would be done.
Danny Tomas' willingness to spend time with me, as well as his knowledge and interest in talking about tree care and teaching me as we walked around my property was exactly what I was looking for in an arborist and a tree care company.
He gave me two estimates, one for a more limited amount of work that I originally had in mind, and the all-day estimate, that he reassured me would include everything that could possibly be needed to prune and clean out all the trees.... even specified that if it wasn't all able to be done in one day, because it took longer than expected or because of an interruption for bad weather, they would finish up another day at no additional charge.  Also gave me the option of having them start out doing the limited job to see how they operated and the quality of the work, before deciding whether to do it all
The estimates were initially without the Angie's List discount, because I did not ask for one or show him a coupon.  But he called me later and said he just realized that I had said something about Angie's List during the time he was here, asked if I was a member,and offered the 10% discount on the prices he had quoted.
I've used several tree companies before, all with arborists, but never was this impressed, during the estimate, AND after completion of the job.
On the day of the job, I was also very involved in details of which major branches to prune, as well as how high to elevate each tree and which branches to cut where, in order to accomplish the degree of elevation that I wanted.
They were careful about marking the street with safety cones wherever they were working, and leaving room for traffic to get around them.
As they worked, they continually picked up and fed cut branches into the mulcher and cleaned debris out of plant beds.
When they were done, they raked the lawn, walked around all four sides of the house with me, inside and outside the fence on one side of the property, looking at everything again, and picking up any missed branches/debris.
At the end of the day, my husband (who leaves the yardwork to me, the one who is interested in it)  said he was not happy that I had told Danny that the citrus stump did not need to be ground or removed.  When I mentioned it to Danny, just in passing, not expecting anything to be done about it since we had specifically agreed ahead of time that it would not be done.... he said he would come back some day soon to do it, free of charge! And he did.... communicating with me by phone to coordinate schedules to be sure I knew when he would be arriving, so I could be there, since I wanted to be present.
I'll definitely be using their services again in about 3 years (as he recommended), for the same type of job (hopefully minus any diseased tree removal!)

It went very well and I would recommend them.  I need a lot of tree work in my yard and while they identified some of my needs they didn't try to give me a hard sell to include things I didn't want.  They were working in my neighborhood a week prior and delivered a full truck load of mulch to my driveway for free. 

I then asked for a quote to remove my hazardous tree and we reviewed the process to take it down, since access was limited and they would have to rope all pieces down. 

You can find cheaper perhaps but their crew was very  efficient and thorough and  knew exactly how to work as a team to be safe and sure my home was protected, and that piece of mind is worth hiring a professional like Sustainable Tree Care for.

Sustainable Tree Care performed an excellent job, especially for the price.  They were doing some work on my neighbor's trees and Bill came by to give me a quote.  We know our oaks are very old and require quite a deal of work, and in particular our Laurel Oak since it is showing its age.  We have researched certified arborists in the past and had them tell us the "dos and don'ts" to keeping our trees healthy.  What Bill told me we needed was right in line with this, so I knew Bill was knowledgeable.  They worked efficiently and thoroughly, and did even more than promised, not once haggling me on price.  I know how expensive trimming these trees can be, so I feel we really lucked out with the expertise and affordability of Sustainable Tree Care.
