SSS removed our shutters and even gave us a discount because it took less time to remove them than was thought. They were on time but were hard to get hold of initially. I needed a copy of their workman's comp coverage, they promised to bring it when they arrived. Stated that they forgot the paper and promised to get the form to me ASAP. They did not bring a copy of their coverage but it didn't happen. Multiple calls to SSS for the paperwork were never responded to. My guess is that they do not have workmans comp.

Work was completed in about two hours. Handed me a bill for $470.00. Service call $95.00 / Labor ..almost $300.00 and parts $100.00. I can buy the part they replaced at the hardware store on 49th street for $12.00. I was prepared for possibly a $300 total charge but feel somehow really taken advantage of. The reason I contacted them was because another company that they do business with came over and were so rude because the job was evidently to small for them. Storm Shutter Specialist Inc. we're very professional but they let me know I could never do business with them again when they handed me that outrages bill for almost $500.
