The staff was very friendly. Our dog was very happy when we picked him up. They treated him very well. The only word of warning I would give is that they require a full checkup prior to boarding. I don't remember the exact cost, but it was reasonable and competitive with other vets in the area. I didn't mind paying for the check up because my dog was treated like a king which is very important to me.

I was driving to work during the tropical storm and spotted a kitten washed up in the road. The kitten was barely responsive and ice cold. I drove to a vet nearest to my work and it happened to be Steele Animal Hospital. Dr. Manarino hadn't arrived yet, but Cyndi and other hospital staff were there and began caring for the kitten immediately and were so caring and helpful. When Dr. Manarino arrived she immediately began caring for the kitten as well. They kept the kitten for the day to keep warm, get the poor little guy to eat, worm and took exceptional care of him. The staff called frequently to update me on his progress and when I picked him up they all spent time with me and the kitten to answer any questions, give me care tips and wish me well. I am amazed at the level of openness and care they provided. I already have a Vet, but I will take him back there.

I have been taking my 2 cats to Steele Animal Hospital for 13 years. They are wonderful! The hospital is staffed by three wonderful women veterinarians who are excellent, professional, gentle, and loving. The Vet Techs are friendly and very great with the animals. They have also boarded my cats on 12 occasions. They have gotten me in to see the vet within minutes of my calling 4 separate times when one of my cats had a medical emergency!
