I have canceled this service multiple times, both by phone, by letter, and in person for the following reasons: 1. Service techs did not provide service as contracted. They simply did not show up. One service tech who did come long after service was canceled said the company was having difficulty finding people to provide service. 2. My lawn has died as a result of bug/mold infestation and I am now paying to have it resodded. 3. I explained these issues multiple times to a very rude office manager who said I needed to pay for “service” for two more months. No.

It went well and hope that continues for the year long contract. Will plant review again at year's end

They are to make my lawn green but they burned it the last time. They come out whenever they feel like it not when I would like them to come out.

On 3/17/2014, ProGreen could not come out because of rain, so they said they'd be there the next day.  Okay, no problem.  They arrived 3/18/2014 and did some of the work we discussed.  The crew did basic lawn maintenance, but didn't pull any weeds from the flower beds or around the putting green.  They didn't treat the area around the putting green with some expensive chemical Des said would inhibit weed growth in that area.  He said the chemical would discolor the putting green and the area around it (which is wilderness stones and rubber mulch) a gold color until rain/irrigation/weather wore the color off.  Nothing in that area ever had the gold color on it, so I can only surmise that I was charged for work/chemicals that was not done.  We had a severe dollar weed problem that he said they could take care of in no time - to this day, our entire back bank is still covered with dollar weed.  Our next door neighbor bought some cheap DIY stuff from Home Depot and her dollar weed is gone.  Why isn't our dollar weed problem cleared up after 4 months of $45/monthly treatments?  After the initial work on 3/18/2014, I walked the property and made a punch list of everything that was not done to our satisfaction or not done at all.  I provided this information to Des, who said I misunderstood the scope of some of the work (which seemed to be his answer for any time we complained about work not satisfactorily performed) and we scheduled 3/28/2014 for them to come back and finish the work.  Even though we found their initial work to be somewhat lacking, we decided to let them provide us with weekly lawn maintenance through the summer months for $180.00 per month ($215.00 when they fertilized the shrubs which we did not agree to in our contract with them, but they billed us for anyway).  Now to the problems with their execution of our weekly lawn maintenance.  We repeatedly asked the crew to lower their mower blade so that our lawn doesn't look overgrown two days after they've mowed.  If we're not here when they show up to verbally remind them, it doesn't get done.  Today was the final straw.  Our weekly scheduled day for maintenance is Wednesday, but they seldom show up on that day and never call to say that they're not going to be there.  They'll show up on Thursday or Friday, or after we've had to call and complain.  Today (7/24/2014) they came while neither my partner nor myself were at home.  The grass looks as if it hasn't been cut at all.  There are large brown patches of grass that weren't there until they treated the yard on 7/22/2014 (looks like the chemicals they used burned the grass).  They trimmed the bushes in the front flower bed and didn't pick up any of the trimmings (they never have picked up any of the shrub clippings) and the trimmings actually ended up in our side yard flower bed that's no where near the shrubs that were trimmed.  How on earth did that happen.  Whoever was on the riding lawn mower must have been drunk because they plowed into a Frangipani tree in our front yard and broke three large limbs out of the middle of the tree.  The tree has been there since they began our weekly lawn maintenance.  They didn't leave a note or call us or anything.  They left our back yard gate wide open, which is a liability for us as homeowners because we have a swimming pool.  They didn't cut the side yard grass short enough, which we have discussed with them on numerous occasions.  They have to use a push mower in that area and the blade cannot be set low enough; subsequently, they have to manually go over it with a weed eater.  They blew mud and debris all over our resin composite white fence (this happens every week) and didn't bother to blow off the front porch.  Des won't even take our calls anymore - he pawns them off onto his partner, Ron.  Ron makes excuses, but nothing changes.  We've been using their services since the beginning of April 2014 because we didn't want to worry about maintaining our yard this summer so we could enjoy our pool and travel.  Never once has there been a problem-free occurrence.  Today we took photos of everything, sent those photos to their customer service department, reiterated everything I've said here and fired them.  I wouldn't recommend this company for any work - lawn treatment or maintenance.

The sales pitch this company gave was for "worry free" complete lawn care.  I had recently bought a new home and it was a priority for me to have the lawn and landscaping well maintained.  After hundreds of dollars spent over more than 6 months, and after repeated pleas to give them more time when I wasn't happy with the results, the grass continued to look worse and worse.  When all was said and done, I was out a lot of money and my grass looked far worse than when I bought the house.  Fungus and insects caused very large yellow areas throughout the lawn.  I was afraid to lose the entire lawn so told the company representative I had been dealing with that I would pay for the April service, including the completely ineffective chemical treatment, if I could terminate service immediately at the end of April rather than with 30 days notice (I was afraid the grass would be completely dead by then).  He agreed.  But I continued to receive an invoice for May service.  Despite my efforts to resolve the matter with the company, they refused.  I cannot even remember the last time I was so dissatisfied with a service or my treatment as a customer.  I would never recommend this company to anyone.  A lot of promises but zero results.  (Cost was $50 per chemical treatment)
