Phillips Pools and Landscape

I would never recommend this company to anyone.  Their professionalism as well as the ability to tell the truth was suspect.  Run don't walk away from this company. In retrospect, I wish I belonged to Angie's List prior to hiring them and I will never assume that a terrific advertisement in a magazine meant a quality company or job again.

I never got the fire pit so he told me that he would give me the tracking number to see where it was. I still never got it so he said he would do the accounting and make sure the numbers are right. He told me that he owed me the $1,000. I am going by the contract and I know I didn’t get the numbers wrong. I still haven't recieved the check. He never delivered the fire pit and he still owes me $1000.00. I have never been ripped off like this before.

Horribly.  Pavers were not installed properly and caused flooding toward the home interior.  Work had to be reaccomplished by another service provider. Phillips did npot pay his sib contractors which created a financial and legal noghtmare for us.

A disaster from beginning to end.  The only thing he focused on was getting advancements on the draw.  We faced one disaster after another to include his lack of forward thinking in getting gutters installed in a timely manner during the torrential rain season here.  The pitch of the pavers brought flood waters to our door and we had to contract a gutter installer to avoid further damage to our backyard.  In the middle of these stressful events for the homeowner, they never had a sense of urgency about completing the job.  The architect performed badly since the overall project management of the site was his responsibility.  Taking more than 3 months to complete this project due to countless delays and poor planning is a reflection of blatant incompetence. Now we need to re-do the work and invest more time and money to get the project we originally envisioned.  Additionally, the work site is a disaster with landscape disrupted, construction debris from end to end across the property.  My neighbors are to be sainted for tolerating this for as long as it's been going on.  Overall, it's been a horrible and brutal life lesson.

Their professionalism was beyond reproach. I talked with several landscaping companies and went with this company because they met my needs so well. Their follow up was wonderful - especially in regards to the pool.
