Ron (the owner) has reached out to me and kindly offered take care of medical bills for Otto. I accepted the offer and appreciate his efforts to make me whole. Beware! You might pick up an injured dog and get to pay for it :) I've been going here for years and I have liked them for the most part until yesterday. I have a whippet and he tends to hump during the daycare. He's been pulled in the past but has never bit another dog or caused any issues. Ok, so that's sort of funny. So their upsell is always to do the daycare for like $5 or whatever so I always say yes, thinking they'll just pull him if he gets his mojo going. I picked him up yesterday after having his face bitten severely. No medical treatment was administered except or a hydrogen peroxide flush (which is not what you're supposed to do). I asked if I should take him to the vet. "I mean it's up to you. He should be ok" was the reply. It was just a puncture so I figured it wasn't a big deal. I was wrong. I had to go to the ER because his eye swelled up, he wouldn't eat and he had a fever. $383 later he's on meds and is ok (so far). I also have at least one more regular vet visit that was ordered by the ER Vet. So I call Paws and paradise to see what they would do to assist financially. I figured if he was under their care, they are liable. Evidently not. At the end of a horrible conversation with what I think was the owner, they were willing to provide $200 worth of store credit. What a joke. I'm out $45 for a two night stay and probably close to $500 when it's all said and done, not to mention the stress and hourly care he's needed. Their policy isn't to assist in any way in these cases and I "should be glad that they were there so it wasn't worse". Can't make this stuff up. So I declined that sub-par offer. I asked "what would have happened if I didn't pick him up for days?" The response "we would have called, asked you what to do and then we would have billed you for the visit". No thanks, I'm done with these people. I declined their offer and I did say at the end of the call, "I strongly suggest you consider changing your policy and keeping a little slush fund on the side for cases like this. $500 isn't much and it would go a long way with customer service". The response was "$500 a lot and I don't have that kind of money". Do you trust a business that doesn't have $500 to keep as insurance if your pet is hurt? Have fun dealing with these crooks, I know I'm done with them.

Both of my dogs were groomed by Linda, who did an excellent job on both dogs. One dog is anxious and nervous about being groomed, so Linda was unable to work on him until I medicated him with an anxiety pill I got from the vet because he is so fearful of thunder and fireworks. I appreciated that she was willing to work with me with this dog because he won't allow me to groom him at all, and he really needed it. I'm very picky about groomers, and I'd definitely recommend her to others. I know others who use her, and they're happy, too. The facility and other staffers are nice, too.

My cat came home with some tissue missing from her nose and I just didn't think that they were doing a great job. I mean there were several people there, just everything from making reservations and visiting the place; but picking up, it was disappointing to see. And of course they denied that she'd ever been around another cat. It just wasn't done and they denied all responsibility. I just left them and hung up.

We love Paws in paradise. They have a Webcam in every room so you can see your babies at all times. We have called several times while our pets were being boarded, and we can see the employees immediately address our needs. We have also watched as employees have spent extra time with our dogs, giving them special loving. We really appreciate this, as one of our dogs was severely abused before we adopted her. The employees are sincere and dedicated to pets. They always have an opening on short notice, which is lucky for us. We plan on using them every time we go out of town... we have used them several times already.

Their in-room camera never worked the entire time I was away. I called multiple times and no one would do anything saying I had to take it up with the vendor. No one could give me any data about my dog. When I picked her up, she was sick and I rushed her to Animal Emergency same day -- she had a urinary tract infection. When I spoke to owner, he claimed no responsibility saying I told the office girls to ignore it. I have emails that showed a real lack of responsiveness. I had to ask several times for a "Report Card" that was a part of the service. And when I finally received it, I thought, "This must be a joke." It was no more than a scribbled "She did great!" This is sad, since the girls were all very nice, and I am pretty nice myself. So I can't understand what went wrong here.

I have never met a nicer group of people that love animals! They are extremely courteous, professional and genuinely care about the animals under their care. The facility is very clean and you are able to view your "babies" at all times through an app, which I truly appreciate! Moreover, when I drop my dogs off, they run inside and barely glance back at me, a sign that they are loved and well treated at Paws. Linda, the groomer, does an excellent job and it is nice that all of these services are under one roof! I always recommend Paws to all of my friends with pets!

We continue to be pleased with Paws Inn Paradise boarding and grooming services for about two years now. They have several different room types to suit your pets' needs (some w/ or w/out patios and pool views). Our dogs don't swim but there is a nice size pool if yours does. Our dogs enjoy the interaction with other dogs during playtime. We want our dogs to feel as if they haven't left home and in many ways all the options they offer allows them to feel like it. I've found all the employees to be friendly and professional. The groomer has never disappointed us and her prices are reasonable compared to other places I've checked. They always smell clean and the cuts have been what we want. If she has any questions, she'll call. Ron has a great crew and a well run business. If you're looking to replace someone or to have an alternative, definitely check them out.
**Word of advice... call in advance around the holidays because they tend to have limited availability of certain room types.

The staff of Paws Inn Paradise Pet Resort were very professional and caring. They have great people and they obviously take good care of animals.

I was satisfied with their care for my animals, flexibility with schedule and notice, and will use this boarding facility again.

They do a wonderful job, and we love all of their services. We really like that they take in pets during hurricanes which offers great peace of mind.

They are very clean, and just love the animals. They are very good with them.

I initially went in about a month before we would require boarding. It was a good thing that I did, because it turned out that I would need to present evidence (upon boarding) that my cats were up to date with their county-required shots (which they were not, at the time). The staff member showed me their selection of accommodations. I could choose from a number of "views" for my cats. They were window, live fish and live hamsters. I was impressed by the nature of the enclosure. It was not a wire cage, but a three level "condo" with a glass door and a view of the hamsters to one side. The facility was clean and there appeared to be sufficient room for two cats, so I selected it. I was required to leave a $50 deposit. This was refundable as long as I gave sufficient notice of my cancellation. Otherwise, it was to be put toward the balance of the transaction. When it was time, we brought the cats in. We were required to bring sufficient food for them, and we were allowed to supply blankets or other familiar items. Upon our return, we picked up the cats and they appeared to be in good shape. The staff had even washed our blanket. They also kept a chart on the cats and recorded their eating, drinking and excretion activities. Overall, the staff did a good job, I believe.

Our two dogs cannot wait to leave us when we drop them off at Paws Inn Paradise. They scratch at the door and gladly sit for their ID collar. When the kennel worker takes them back behind the door, they go along willingly and never look back! We have no guilt when we leave for vacations, some of which extend to two weeks. When we pick our dogs up, they are well groomed, glad to see us and are calm on the way home. We compare this to our previous dogs and previous kennels where the dogs whined and grew nervous at the arrival and were in distress when we picked them up. I love the webcam feature where we can check on the internet what our dogs are doing! We can see them in their pen, which is big enough for two big dogs to board together plus a private outdoor run. Or, during the day we can see them playing in the big indoor area with the other dogs (this is an optional service, as is the dog pool and additional walks). We were given a tour when we stopped by the first time unannounced. It was clean, friendly and organized, which really gave us confidence in the operation. Ron and the whole team are very responsive when we have requests, and they really seem to welcome and love our dogs. We don't see how it can be any better!

Was an excellent experience. Dogs were well cared for. Premises were clean and well maintained. Groomers did an excellent job. I would definitely use this facility again and would recommend them highly.

We had no problems, they did a nice job. They have a day care situation where the dogs play with the other dogs rather than just sitting in a kennel all day. It wasn't cheap but it was worth it because we love our dogs.
