Paver Repair Pro

It is interesting that the Google reviews for Paver Repair Pros (managed by James “Derrick” Eakins) should all be either one-star or five-star. It would appear that things either work out wonderfully for those who work with Derrick, or they work out terribly. As one for whom things worked out terribly, I would add my voice to those urging you, dear reader, not to roll the dice (or spin the chamber!) trying to work with Derrick. There are so many companies out there willing to repair or resurface your driveway or do other concrete work, why take the chance that you’ll get Mr. Hyde here instead of Dr. Jekyll. After his wonderful and friendly sales visit, I found Derrick to be uncommunicative, erratic, unprofessional, and ultimately unreliable (save for the fact that, after 2.5 months of wasting my time with him, I eventually received a refund of my deposit) – and I would spare you the frustrations that I experienced with him. Indeed, I would urge you to read the reviews of, and complaints filed against, both “Paver Repair Pro, LLC” as well as the older “Prosealers, LLC” on the BBB web site (24 complaints against the pair as of this writing). James Derrick Eakins is listed as the CEO of both, though the latter company appears to have ceased operations, though not before it had received a BBB Alert for “a pattern of complaints concerning failure to honor warranties, delivery issues and refund issues.” Starting up the new business after running the old one for only two years is itself a red flag, I think. I admit that I had failed to notice that history before signing an agreement with Derrick, which I came deeply to regret. Glad for the eventual refund of the deposit, though, and the freedom to seek out a more reliable source of help.
