I have been working with a professional landscaper to blueprint a major landscaping
project (4-5K value) for our home, as the landscaping firm highly suggested we
work with Palm Trees Direct in locating and placing the Royal Palms for our landscaping
project-what a mistake this was!!! After calling John, and leaving him a
detailed message of what I needed, several days went by without a return
courtesy call. After calling the landscaping firm, I was informed John called
the landscaping firm and told the landscaping firm that he was not going to
call me back because he felt I was asking him to take a considerable price cut
on the Palm Trees I needed. Here is where the deception comes in from Palm
Trees Direct, how does he really understand and know what I need without
returning my phone call?? The landscaping firm told me they asked John to call
me in order to identify my needs as they explained to John what I really needed
and he misunderstood my message, but there was no commitment from John in doing
so. In addition, the firm told me he is a retired cop and has a chip on his
shoulder when it comes to dealing with customers and people in general. Guess
what folks, another week went by and no call from John. In fact, as I am writing
this I still have not received a courtesy return call from this
and quot;Johnand quot; person from Palm Trees Direct. I have already informed many of
my friends in St. Petersburg to stay aware from this place. Save yourself the
hassle, John (Palm Trees Direct) does not RETURN PHONE CALLS and in today’s
economic environment good social skills and customer service prevails; Palm
Trees Direct has neither!!!
"Thank you member. The member has used us several times since this post. We sell the highest quality plant material in Pinellas County. After we agreed to replace the plants, Mr Ali was placed on the schedule for replacement, even though the plants were not defective. Plants thrive when they are in the right place, with the right conditions. Other customers were already scheduled ahead of him and we were unable to put them in the "next day". Ultimately, his plants were replaced in a reasonable amount of time, at no cost to him."
