Excellent. All workers were polite and competent. Even the music they played was more pleasant than the music used by most workers! They showed flexibility in working with other contractors who were finishing up some needed renovation work (like electricians putting up outside lights).

Fantastic. Cleaned-up very nicely. Were very clean and careful while they were doing their work. Very nice and respectful.

I have had the pleasure to meeting Dan, the owner, about 15 years ago. He was referred to me by a coworker. In the past, he painted the exterior and interior of my house as well as cleaning and painting the tile roof about every 5 years. He has great attention to detail. The clean up was spectacular, which says a lot because he pressure washed the entire house which had many areas that were peeling. His assistant painters were terrific. His prices are below other painters.

The Estimate: Dan was very professional and down to earth when we first met. We walked around the house and asked very detailed questions about specific features and the colors we wanted. We removed sliding glass doors and installed French doors in its place. This left a large inset/void next to the French doors where the doors used to slide into. Dan specializes in Stucco repair as well and provided multiple options to fill this area. He was very forthright with each solution and long term effects that could possibly occur.

Each day I noticed they didn’t even take a lunch break or if they did it was so short I didn’t even notice.

Day 1 on Job: We have a 1450 sq ft house so the first day was cleaning the house from top to bottom to ensure it was ready for paint. This entailed a single member of his crew who worked very hard for 7 straight hours without even breaking for lunch. He did an excellent job and wasn’t able to find any chalky residue on the house once he was done.

Day 2: They arrived sharply at 8 AM All Landscaping was covered with drop clothes, windows were covered with 3M painters film and other areas i.e. door knobs were taped off, Soffit and Fascia were painted and Stucco work was completed.

Days 3 and 4: Arrived early and worked another 7.5-8 hour days without breaking for lunch and completed the remaining work on the house. He was finished when promised and did a great job on everything he was hired for.

In Summary I will definitely be leveraging Dan in the future for any handyman work within his scope. I am proud to be associated with such a reputable, hardworking crew such as Oyster Bays and his integrity thoroughly shines through. He even performed a few small jobs free which he could have charged me for.

Dan provided a detailed quote with a description of all services to be performed, started the job on time and finished quickly. Great job and great to work with. Would highly recommend.

Arrived every day on time and completed job in a timely manner. Owner and two helpers. Took great care moving furniture and other items. Took off all electrical switches and plugs and wall fixtures. Did a thoroughly professional job. Would gladly recommend.

What a professional! Danny looked at each item I wanted done, told me up
front if he wasn't able to do it (but gave me names and numbers of
people specialized in those jobs), gave me a written estimate and time frame. He did it right from
start to finish! Every item was completed perfectly, on time, for the quote given. I also have to add,he is one nice man! It was a pleasure to do business with him, and I will call him EXCLUSIVELY for any project I have in the future.

They did a good job, did it very quickly. My window unit quit working, so I purchased a new one and they came out and installed it for me. They are really good about doing small jobs like that as well as bigger ones.

They did a great job. They are very good and conscientious. Dan, the owner, does all he can to keep the price within reason. I will call them when needed.

The owner is Dan Sobstyl. He does the work himself. He is always on sight and does have an assistant. It is just the two of them. They do excellent work. They come exactly when they say they will, they work fast but are thorough, they are very neat and they go the extra mile. They are an excellent firm. I can not recommend them highly enough.

They do both the inside and the outside painting. They also do tile roof painting and cleaning. I have used them several time for many different projects; I have been extremely pleased.

It took them four full days to complete the bookcase along one entire wall and paint the bookcase and the rest of the room. I was satisfied with the work and price, but don't have anything to compare it to because I did not get other estimates. I think there was a communication problem and they were about an hour late from the time they'd originally said they'd be there. It was not that big of a deal, they started the work promptly and it took a day less than they'd estimated. They were very neat and were careful to protect everything. I would hire them again, very definitely.
