Northeast Mowers has been established since 1981. We cater to not only the commerical market, but the home user as well. We are authorized dealers for Toro, Hustler, Ferris, Echo, Shindaiwa, and Kawasaki Hand Held power equipment. We are authorized service dealers for Kohler, Kawasaki, and Briggs and Stratton engines. With factory trained technicians and combined industry experience of over 70 years, we are here to serve you with not only with our knowledge, but with our eagerness to "get you going & keep you mowing"

What makes this business a crown jewel is Chris, the lady behind the counter. She knows whereof she speaks and can be depended upon for honest and correct advise. Example: Our 5 year old Toro (Personal Pace model) lawn mower seemed to have a failing self-propelled mechanism. I tuned the mower and replaced the drive belt with some improvement. We were frustrated to the point of buying a new mower. We were told that a simple adjustment to a drive cable would solve our problem. We did and it did.
Before every purchase we've been quizzed as to our needs and price point. We've never been under or over sold. Before any parts purchase Chris makes sure we're getting the right part for the right piece of equipment.
Big Box stores may have a slightly lower price but good luck getting intelligent advice and the proper parts from these locations.
Northeast Mowers bread and butter are commercial lawn businesses and these folks all seem pleased with the way NE mowers treats them. That speaks volumes.
As an aside I've put $0.00 in the cost of service because the last time in there was for advice. Over the years I'd estimate our total purchases to be in the $2000. range. Money well spent.
are an authorized Briggs-Stratton warranty repair. 6mo old mower not
starting. They informed me when I brought the mower in that they did
not do Husquvarna mower warranty repair, just the engine, so they'd call
me if anything outside of the warranty needed fixing. Fair enough.
Next
day I receive a call, and they described a relatively simple and cheap
fix, but it was outside the warranty. They explained what was going on,
and I gave the greenlight for repair after they told me the price. One
half-hour billable work.
Next day, I picked up the mower, paid, and
they brought my mower out and explained what was going wrong, how they
fixed it, and how to prevent the same thing from happening again. Very
thorough, professional and friendly.
Great experience and great way to get a repeat customer.
