Upon vacating our rental condo after three years, the property manager charged us an excessive amount. We cleaned the condo for two days after moving out to ensure we would get most of our deposit back. The manager stated that there were smudges on the walls, which had not been painted in 13 years, and windows so she charged $100. Also charged us a carpet cleaning fee even though the carpet was original equipment, having survived the passing of a former owner. Yes, it always smelled very bad but we dealt with it because we had cats. She went on to charge us because we didn't replace stove pans that had come with the condo and for batteries for a smoke detector and well as a smoke detector. When questioned and challenged about the charges she denied and reembersement. I am attempting to contact the owner to resolve this issue. I would not recommend renting from this property manager.
