MEND IT ASPHALT & CONCRETE

The crew arrived on time and quickly began working. Since the old approach had partially eroded, they removed the remainder of it, framed in the new approach and cleaned up. The concrete truck driver arrived and poured the concrete. When he was done, he cleaned the trough out in my front flower bed and sidewalk! I didn't think anything of it at the time as I knew the job wasn't complete; they still needed to smooth the approach. I checked on the progress periodically but I was working so I paid them and returned to work. When it was all done, there was a huge mess in my front flower bed and sidewalk even the water meter access cover had standing water/concrete over it. I spend the next hour trying to clean what was left, however, 3 months later you can still see concrete in the bed. At some point, I'll remove all the top soil and replace it and the ground covering. I also noticed that the space between the concrete and lawn were never filled back in. I've been to the depot twice for fill dirt to take care of this (in progress). The approach itself looks good, but I don't consider the job well done or even completed. I emailed the company, yet heard nothing back. This is just one of many jobs I'll be contracting out. I'll make sure I explicitly state that i don't want a mess left behind and insist is it put on the quote.
