MCNEAL'S ANTIQUES

This was our first visit to McNeal Antiques, Jewelry & Coins. We have seen their ads on Bay News 9 and thought they were innovative and unique. Upon entering the store, Dan immediately greeted us and asked us to have a seat while other customers before us were being assisted. Within minutes we were at Dan's desk and he was sharing his knowledge of coins and their values. We sorted through the coins with Dan indicating which had value and which were simply spendable. He offered us a price for the coins which we accepted. After we were done with the coins, we had him look at some old gold jewelry and he offered us a price which was more than we expected. We wanted time to think about the offer for the gold jewelry so we left to have lunch and we got a second opinion at a second business. Their offer was about $200 less than Dan's so we returned to see Dan and accepted his original offer for the gold jewelry. Dan and his fellow colleagues were all polite and professional. We will return to McNeal Antiques, Jewelry, & Coins should we have the opportunity to sell any other gold or coins.
