I called him on a recommendation. Since he does not accept credit cards, my plumber accepted it and paid him. He was hired to electrify a laundry room with one 220 outlet for a dryer and install a water heater.
After taking my money, he hemmed and hawed for months about the City not being responsive. They had already rejected his installation, he said. The City said that they had never heard from him after getting the permit.
An Angies List-approved guy came out and said that the entire job was not up to code. The load for the building may not take it. The wires were the wrong guage, wrong coating, and the new can was jerry-rigged into one of the apartments' meter.
It is now almost a year later and I have to have another electrician do the installation and recover my money from this guy.

His prices are reasonable. He charges $35.00 an hour for one man and $45.00 for two men. I plan on using him in the very near future!
