Did an excellent job re-grading and sodding a pretty good sized corner lot for me. Lindsey was good to work with. He has a crew of seasoned pros showed up on-time and completed exactly as promised.

The work was done on time and as promised. The crew was very receptive to making any adjustments in layout of sod and mulch. When more mulch was needed than planned, they provided it promptly without cost.

They arrived on time, did a great job of clearing out and laying the sod. They had adviced us in advance that the front of our yard would also be damaged by their equipment (which meant that we had to pay for that sod replacement, as well, although that piece of lawn was perfect before their work, we agreed because we needed the tree stump removed and the side yard repaired, and we believed they would use sod that was healthy and matched our yard). UNFORTUNATELY, the sod they laid in two lines across our front yard, did not match even the color of the rest of our front yard. Now, four months later, the majority of the sod we paid for has ROTTED, the two strips across our front yard have not blended into the rest of our front lawn and in many places has also rotted. We have had a professional lawn service, treating our yard the whole time, and they have now recommended we cut out all the root rot and replace. When I left a message with KTLS, the person returning my call actually laughed at me for being “aggressive” on my message, because I wanted them to come by and look at the rotted sod. They never came by or returned anymore of my calls.

The initial price was fair but sod looked poorly from beginning and is now dead - I believe it was diseased. After installation, Irrigated generously and treated by professional spray company did no good. Neighbor had hired KTLS for additional maintenance work but ended up firing for non-performance.

They used very precise measurements to improve my drainage, and worked diligently to move soil around, then machine tamped it to reduce settling. The plant material (perennial peanut) was superb. They also removed several large shrubs and small trees at no extra charge. Overall, the price was expensive, but since I had had a bad experience with another landscaper who promised to do this work and did a miserable job, I was willing to pay the extra money ---- if I got a good end product, which I did. I do think much of the extra price was justified - the crew was very experienced (far cry from drug addicts on probation, the typical landscape crew), and were very careful around existing plants and deck. I did interview other landscapers (Grade A Angie's Listers) who were much cheaper, but they seemed to be more interested in doing a fast job rather than a really fine one. I needed careful grading - keneagy accomplished that for me.
