Lawrence was great. Scheduled the estimate quickly, scheduled the service quickly, arrived on time and did exactly what was asked. Very professional service and would hire again.

He was on time, did the work as promised at the fee promised, made recommendations but did not give a hard sell, cleaned up afterwards. Professional job.

I couldn’t have had any better service than what JR Tree service provided. The price was very reasonable and the work done was excellent. I can’t wait to have Larry come back to do other work for us.

Tree trimming and removal

Went great very professional and did a great job cleaning up the debris after the job. I definitely would use JR Tree Service again!!

Excellent job. They had to carefully remove a large tree with a very small landing zone. Had to miss electric wires, fences, and houses. Very competent crane work. Great job on stump grinding and clean up.

Everything seemed great, Larry showed up exactly when he said he would. He gave me what I thought was fair for an estimate after looking at every tree. He told me when he would cone back and get the job even though the person he had call me said it could be done same day but I was okay with it as it was only four days later, or so I thought. On the day he was supposed to arrive he called me to inform me that he was 30 minutes out. 30 minutes later, I get a call that he brought a ladder that was too short and has to go get spikes, then I never heard back from him (to be fair and accurate, I posted this review after waiting more than 3 hours for a phone call or for him to show up and do the job we agreed upon). I even explained to him how important it is to get the job done as I am a wounded warrior going down for more surgery on the following Monday. What sad is that this is the first time I decided on using Angies list. If this is Angies guarantee, I rather not. Integrity over all, of you say you will do something, you stand by it and do it. I even found that this provider (J R trees) has a discount coupon that was never offered. I would caution all my battle buddies about this company before they experience the same!

After 25 years of having these old oaks trimmed, Larry was the first Pro that pointed his blades where he pointed his finger during the quote. Most of them swing their arms and say their going to "Cut All This Out" only for you to politely pay them in your disappointment later..Firstly, He owns a cherry picker to get to the job.( I wish in the past I had asked others about the equipment). Many Tree Pros are better salesman than workers. Larry and his son are Good People and they want you to be happy with their work. Larry is genuine, the real deal. I urge you to cut your losses and give him a chance. My neighbors in Old Northeast-----Let Larry cut your Oak Limbs away from your neighbors roof!!!! Your limbs are not exactly seen as Olive Branches, trust me, LOL.

I did not hire this service (several other factors) but this service responded almost immediately and came and gave an estimate within w hours of my call. Such a gaood response I had to give a good review.

Larry arrived at the time promised for both the estimate appointment and to complete the work. We provided specific information regarding the work we wanted done and he completed the work exactly as requested by us in a timely manner. Before leaving Larry verified the work was satisfactory and the yard was cleaned up. Both Larry and his assist were nice to work with and we would hire them again.

This father & son team works so safely and efficiently! You can tell they really know what they're doing. They trimmed everything from my mango trees, oak trees, and palms. My yard has never looked so good!
