JOHN MARTIN YOUR HANDYMAN

John Martin and his grandson came to finish my bathroom after the previous company bailed out and left me with holes on the walls and peeling paint. Unfortunately they couldn't solve the paint problem. Instead they repeated the previous guys mistakes plus they painted the ceiling with a paint that turned pink when hot water was used in the shower area. Grandson finished the kitchen backslash without any problems but, the issues in the bathroom continued. After days of "fiddling" and very sloppy paint job (also still peeling!) I told Mr. Martin that it's time to bring in a professional painter. He bailed out after I told him that I was not interested to hire him for another bigger job that we previously discussed before the issues in the bathroom started to escalate. It is ironical that when I first called Mr. Martin and I told him how the previous company walked out of the job, he apologized in their behalf and told me how unfortunate it is that some companies give a bad name to others. In the end he had no problem doing exactly that. :) His grandson is very pleasant young man with good work ethics but, unfortunately he was not ready to tackle the job on his own.
