We hired John Heinl with Heinl Brothers painting to paint our large 20,000 square ft under roof home. We accepted the proposal and did a contract with him to use the Scott Paint for he promised us we would get a 7 year warranty with it. In our contract we agreed they would use a coat of primer and 2 coats of paint on the house.  We also had an agreement that they would touch up where the other contractors had damaged the paint while finishing construction.   It wasn't until nearly being completed that we were about to pay our final payment when we discovered the house didn't look right.  We discovered that they were not painting with the paint, they were painting with the same color primer.  If you went up to the house, it would peel right off.  They had not painted the two coats of paint they promised us. (We hired a paint specialist to be sure they did/or didn't have the paint on, he assured us it did not have 2 coats of paint)  We approached them about this and they walked off of the job.  We asked for them to paint what we had paid for, they refused and never finished the painting.  Therefore they forfeited our 7 year warranty with Scott Paint and we had to hire someone else to come in and paint our whole house, after we had almost paid them in full.  DO NOT TRUST THEM!!  They will say one thing and do another.  We recommend you stay away from them!
