Installed a new air unit didn't complete the paperwork for the city and wasn't able to close on the house. You can't get in touch with anybody ,they never answer their phones, they never call you back ! DO NOT USE this company!!!

I'm going to try and make this short: we purchased our new home in May 2021, the previous owners had the downstairs AC unit installed by Hales on August 28th 2019. They had purchased a parts and labor warranty - with a transferable owner warranty on labor through Hales. Fast forward: august 19 2021 our AC unit broke - we called Hales since they installed the unit. The receptionist failed to mention anything regarding a labor warranty (transferable) on our account. We had them come out Friday august 20 2021 - they charged us 160 bucks for the service fee (2nd time we contacted them and they failed to tell us about the transferable labor warranty). I even spoke with Scott the technician manager - he even acted surprised about the labor warranty that was transferable. I said how come I have spoken to you and the office associates at Hales and no one told me that you guys sold the previous owners this warranty?! August 24 2021 - They came by today to fix the reverse valve and wanted to hit us with an 1,100 labor fee! Hales told us that it won't be good for 2 days per Hales policy!! Even though Hales should've told us about the warranty on our account august 19 and failed to do so that day and every day past!!! The unit it still broken by the way, going on 6 days with no ac!! See photo below, temperature keeps rising and humidity is increasing!!! Call Hales if you wish, but you've been warned!!! Update: we have been trying to call the office and Scott the technician manager for 4 hours. No response no one calling us back. Our AC unit we have to now shut OFF again. You guys failed to even fix it. We have 3 children in the home by the way, plus you guys are trying to hit us with an 1,100 labor fee from earlier today even though we have a labor warranty! August 24 Scott- the service technician called me back at 5:26 pm saying he is no longer going to come out and fix the project that they started (and screwed up on) because he saw this review. He said you can find another company to come out and fix what we started - even though our labor and part warranty is through Hales!! Sitting here tonight for the 5th night with a broken AC unit going on 6 days tomorrow. It’s criminal to do this to a family with small children. Called Lennox and they contacted Hales saying “you will go out and fix their ac unit and you must contact them and finish what you started”. Let’s see what happens. Terrible business and Scott failed on every level of service to try and make all this mistakes and do some right. This isn’t a learning opportunity anymore big changes must happen with this company. Update august 25th still no air. Comfort shield who carries our warranty reached out to HALES saying they WILL fix our unit - well we spoke to Greg president of the company and without question he said we will not be helping you guys good luck. He even tried saying we went out of our way to try and help you? Really Greg? By sending a rookie technician who did work on our ac that didn’t need to be touched? And having a tech manager say he wasn’t coming out because of a truthful review? He said he doesn’t care about a bad review. Probably because they threaten everyone not to fix the crappy work they started over bad review.Greg even told us that Comfort Shield has been TERRIBLE to get ahold of we said that’s strange cut it Greg because we have had zero issues with Comfort Shield, in fact their awesome and even answer right away. The president is now putting down his company’s own warranty! Maybe you should’nt be in business then. If your putting down and blaming the warranty you sell. Guys, stay away bad business on everybody except the one tech who came out yesterday, Jeff. The only decent person at this company. Call Hales if you wish, you have be warned! They removed my review off google. Not sure how they did that.

They are reasonably priced for an emergency call. He put a band aid on. They were very good with that. They cleaned up after themselves.

Fiasco. Stressful, expensive fiasco. Started simply enough, a simple annual inspection. Inspection reported that system operating normally. But then immediately system began to struggle to cool the house, with problems escalating over days, and system failure at 14 days. Have to eagerly believe in coincidences to believe that inspection followed by system failure was a mere temporal coincidence. Turned out to be a leak in condenser coil. Could not be repaired, part shipped from factory in five days. Total of 6 days without air conditioning, in Florida, in August. A warranted repair, but nevertheless charged $865 Coil replaced, immediately followed by damaged air handler. Technician first claimed system running normally, then blamed problem on clogged air ducts, then insisted that there was no connection between condenser and air handler, and therefore repair of condenser could not have damaged air handler. Three components in air handler found to be damaged, then replaced. Only to find yet another component in air handler damaged, something called an "EEV" valve, Simply, an endless serious of repairs soon followed by malfunctioning components, over and over and over again , From a simple inspection of a not-yet three year old system, to a botched pile of junk. Trying to determine if either condenser or air handler can be salvaged, and, if so, at what cost, and how many more days without air conditioning. Now living out of suitcase in Holiday Inn Express. Hiring Hale's AC Service has proven to be a stressful, costly, fiasco. from 08/10 to 08/30 2017 And still continuing.

Excellent work! I was without AC and someone was out promptly and gave me three estimates. Once I signed the contract it was going to be a couple of weeks so they put in a loaner AC, which was great! They scheduled a time to come out and do the work and were very fast and the crew was nice and respectful. They had the inspector come out a few weeks later and everything is working great!

We contacted Hale's Saturday morning and Jason called me about 30 mins later. He had a break in his schedule and would head right over. He was done within an hour and our AC was back up and running. He was awesome!! He explained thoroughly what happened and what we should do to make the system perform better. I'm going to call him to do that work!!

We were looking to replace an aging AC unit before the summer FL heat. George came out to access and quote a new system and gave us three options: a simple AC heatpump, a 2-stage AC heatpump, and an AC heatpump with continuously variable speeds. We selected the mid-priced 2-stage heatpump. In less than a week a very capable crew of two came to remove the old unit and install the new heatpump. This included a new cement pad outside under the heatpump. The existing blower unit was in our garage and was replaced with a completely new system. All joints between the old ductwork and the new were completely and neatly sealed. A new digital wall thermostat was installed and basically programmed. Before leaving, the work area was clean and neat. About a week later another Hale's technician came to fine tune the system to be sure it was giving us the best performance and make sure the dehumification was working as it should.

From start to finish, we felt very good about working with Hale's. We will use them for all follow up yearly maintenance or services visits. All staff were very professional and answered any questions we had. The system is quiet and we are very pleased.

The technician showed me all of the melted wires. He replaced them and rewired the panel. The heat and air worked fine. Yesterday the air compressor stopped working. I called them this morning to come out again. Every time something happens with this air-conditioner I always call this company because they are honest and have fair prices. When it's time to replace the system I will use this company to buy a new one. When it's time to replace the system I will use this company to buy a new one.
