Repairman suggested I repair both springs as they were both installed at same time. I was not pressured to do so. It was just a suggestion. Cost was provided before work was done. Prompt, courteous, fair price.

They said to come to their location and see why the control was not working. All was needed to be done was to have the battery terminals cleaned. They were very courteous and tested it make sure it was working.

Service tech arrived on time and provided good advice on the repair of broken cable and installation of new garage door opener.  Friendly, timely service from the service manager at the store to the technician that performed the service at our home.  This is the second time we've used Genie of St. Pete and we will call them again in the future for our garage door needs.

Kenny, the technician, arrived promptly and worked diligently throughout the time he was on site.  He was very knowledgeable about garage doors and their operation.  He made a number of suggestions on how to approve the operation of the door and he recognized the need to drill new holes in the angle iron used to attach the door to the opener so that the door would operate properly.  What was most impressive to me is that he took the time to make numerous subtle adjustments to the tracks to ensure the door would operate smoothly and as designed.

They arrived on time, the same day.  They clearly did not know what they were doing and finally asked me for the manual.  One man read the manual while the other tried a few things, and they quickly gave up and said that it must be the motor.  They wanted me to have them come back to install a new opener (this one is less than 2 years old) because they said that a new install was only about $100 more than a new motor.  When I told them that I would have someone else do the install, they criticized the person who installed the one they were working on.  They were unpleasant and appeared incompetent.

It went very well. It was all installed in about 2 hours. All is working great.

I had a thirty year old garage door that needed replacing and was on a short time frame. They were able to work with my handyman to get the new opening framed out the way it needed to be to accept a new door. They pulled the required permit and came and installed the door. When the city inspector wanted an slight change in the fasteners they came that day and changed them out.

1 Work man came on time with permit and put down a floor covering to protect epoxy flooring in garage and started removal. 2nd man showed up later for install and whole thing took about 3 hours. Owner showed up to check up that everything was going ok and scheduled inspection for next day.

Friendly and conversant. Caught them just before closing on a Saturday so we had some time to chat and get acquainted. a nice change. from other businesses.

The entire experience was great. Gary, the sales manager came out and gave me a great price on an impact door complete with installation. It had to be special-ordered because I have a custom-sized garage door opening. They pulled the permit, scheduled the install and did everything on time and in a very professional manner. Genie of St. Petersburg is a great company.

This morning, the torsion spring on my garage door snapped. I called Genie of St Petersburg right away. Gary, the tecnician arrived within the hour. He spent well over an hour and put considerable effort on this job because the old spring had not been properly installed. He was very patient and courteous.

Prompt response. Scheduled appointment for next day. Called ahead to narrow down exact time. Efficient and knowledgable. Would use again.

Garage door wouldn't open and I noticed the chain was loose. Looked up garage door companies on Angie's List and decided to call Genie of St. Petersburg, Inc. They were very nice on the phone. I scheduled an appointment for the next day. The garage tech, Kenny, showed up on time and was very professional. He was able to fix my garage door opener. They give a 90 day warranty on service for repairs and a one year warranty on replaced parts. I would recommend using this company.

Kenny came the next day at the time scheduled. He performed his work of lubricating of all moving parts, in a professional manner and willingly answered my questions. I was pleased with his work and will use Genie again.

They were good guy and did a good job. The product works.
