"Thank you [Member Name Removed] for your support!"
"Hi [Member Name Removed], this is Danny,I am sorry that you fill that way,i had emergency that i had to attend so I send the person that was available, so we can keep the appointment and don't have to reschedule. He was able to give me info that I need to give you the price for replacing duct work and equipment and we did give you three options with different efficiency and different equipment brands. You decided to go with one of our competitors as you had many companies there and that is fine we are not mad at you. We are very busy and trying to get to every customer that call us. Thanks !"
"We are disappointed that we apparently dropped the ball with [Member name removed]. This has been an extremely busy season due to the lingering summer heat, and we were experiencing higher than normal repair and installation calls. I find it curious why [Member name removed] did not give us the opportunity to remedy the situation before jumping on Angie's List to give us a bad review."
"Thank you, [Member Name Removed], for taking the time to give us a great review. We always strive to provide quality work for a fair price, and our goal is to gain your loyalty and trust that we will take care of your home comfort needs."
To do this task, I read up on HVAC system installations, common mistake contractors make, read numerous HVAC articles on the web, and performed my own Manual-J load calculation to keep contractors honest. I interviewed 9 different HVAC companies spending 1.5 hours with each reviewing my 10 pages of requirements and detailed diagrams. In the end, I was able to obtain 7 proposals for the job on my house.
The best out of the 7 proposals and the most knowledgeable company, hands down was Forest Air.
The owner of Forest Air, Danny, came out to listen to what I wanted done. Danny listened, took notes, gave me some suggestions, and would provide me a Manual-J calculation report to determine the equipment need for my house.
Three days later, Danny from Forest Air arrived with the Manual-J load calculation report in hand, and provided me with 3 alternatives given the Manual-J report on the house. Danny?s proposal provided the best energy efficient system of all the 7 proposals I had obtained and at an excellent price.
Work done by Forest Air was exceptional to say the least. His crew of well trained professionals removed the old duct work in the attic, removed and discarded the old furnace and outside A/C condenser. The crew then proceeded to install the new duct system consisting of both rigid duct board and flex duct. Only 2 companies of the nine I requested proposals for would work with rigid duct board which is a quieter and more durable material the just plain flex. An HVAC system consisting of all flex ducts is OK, but not the best. Supply trunks made out of rigid board with branch ducts out of flex is much better.
Just google ?rigid duct vs flex? on the web.
The entire house was done in just over 4 days by Forest Air, this included 11 supply vents, 3 return vents, placing the new outside condenser in a new location on a hurricane slab in a flood zone area. I was up in the attic checking all of their work every day after they left, and let me tell you, for work that hardly anyone ever sees or inspects (except me) they did awesome work.
Forest Air went beyond my expectations in this installation. The attention to detail and the workmanship was excellent. The crew really takes pride in their work. The furnace and the A/C operate exceptionally well, and the system is very quite.
Overall this was a superb experience.
"Thank you, (removed member name), for taking the time to submit such a detailed review! We are thrilled that your needs were met and then some, and we strive to do this for each and every customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to taking care of your home comfort needs for years to come!"
"Thanks, [name removed]! Your review helps other potential customers make an informed decision when choosing an HVAC service company."
Scheduling was a breeze. Crew showed up right on time.
Craig and his partner were like surgeons. I have never watched efficiency like this in HVAC service. Old lines removed and new lines - with clean out fittings - were installed. This should allow removal of any future buildup or clogs. Smart and simple solution.
Paperwork was easy, pricing was legitimate and fair for service call with line fabrication.
Fine doing business this way.
"Thank you [name removed] for taking the time to give us a great review. We appreciate your business!"
called One Hour Air about 3-4 years ago and spent quite a bit of money with them.
The company is now Forest Air and our warranty now rests with them. The
technician Steve showed up 30 minutes early which was awesome considering we had
no air conditioning and was a super nice guy. After about 20 minutes he traced
the electrical issue back to a blown capacitor in the outside condenser. He
told us it was covered under our warranty and he was all done in about 30-40
minutes. Everything had gone great until we got to the bill; they wanted to
charge us $211 for a part that was covered by our warranty! When we looked at
what we were being charged it was $60 for inspection and $140 for inspection
and repair. When I objected Steve called his supervisor was extremely rude and
unprofessional and at one point shouted at Steve, ?You tell her? and had no
customer service whatsoever. It seems like this company is trying to tack on
charges and listing multiple things as ?inspection?, I was even told at one
point that the $60 was the fee for gas to come out. In the end they removed the
erroneous $60 fee and it was just the $140 to fix the part that broke that was covered
under warranty.
Again the technician
Steve was very nice and I do not fault him for working for a company with shady
billing practices or working for a supervisor who has no problems degrading his
employees over the phone or yelling at customers. If we did not already spend a
fortune with this company and have an active warranty I would NOT use them
again.
"Re: [member name removed] residence Dear [member name removed], I apologize if our service fees are confusing to you, and wish to take this opportunity to explain our fees. We charge $69 to diagnose the problem, which does help cover our technician's time and travel. The balance of $142 is the fee to repair the problem. The part is under warranty, but the labor warranty has expired. The manufacturer only offers a one year labor warranty, however, Forest Air gives an additional year at our cost. We agreed to remove the diagnostic fee because our goal is to have satisfied customers. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope we have resolved this issue to your satisfaction. If you would like to save money in the future, we offer a maintenance program which will save you the $69 diagnostic fee and also includes a 20% discount on parts."
"Thank you, [member name removed], for taking the time to send a review! We appreciate your business! Kimberly Office Manager Forest Air"
