It was $2,675; $75 of it was for the permit.I have a 10-year warranty. The price was good. That was the main thing for a comparable unit. I checked a lot of places, and they were the best by far.

One of our pipes that was coming out our air conditioner unit was kind of freezing up, so that's what he was looking. He's very reasonable. It was just one person that came out. It took two hours maybe to finish the work. He just shows up, he's honest you can kind of tell he knows what he's doing. He's not out to tell you; you need something and you don't, he just honest. He got it cool and not hot. We've had him out several times. He's very professional, he knows a lot of air conditioning stuff and he does what he needs to do. He's not very expensive or anything and then he's gone. He's very nice, educated in what he does.

From the start to the finish it went very well. Kevin the owner was nothing but a pro with his quote and explanation. David his installer was very good, was all done in about 4.5 hours. I have two rental properties and have been through installs before.
The new unit works great. Very quite.
The day after the install my wife wanted me to install a programmable thermostat, I did, and it didn't work. I wired it wrong and blew a fuss inside the air handler. I called Kevin and he diagnosed the problem over the phone, told me what to do. He would have come out later in the day but no need. I felt like a dope, Kevin bailed me out. No charge.

My old system did not fail but it was 16 years old. I decided to replace it now to avoid problems and assure that our condo environment was controlled while we traveled. I called several other A/C providers including the company that had maintained our system for years.  Kevin came out, presented his company well and offered a good price. I mentioned my plan to the neighbors, turns out they were in the same situation. Kevin's crew installed 2 units on the same day, on time and as agreed. 4 months later Kevin came back to check on a situation and assured me the system was operating as it should. Pleased!

Just as the weather started getting warm, the A/C died in one of my rental properties  - there were several massive leaks.  They would be so expensive to fix and I'd still have an older A/C.  I wanted to get it installed as quickly as possible so I called several vendors that were recommended including the one I use for my own home.  They were all responsive but while one tried to tell me why the estimates the others had given me were not good, Kevin just came in, reviewed the situation, discussed my options - a professional all the way.  When I made my decision, it was just EASY.  They showed up on time, completed the work and cleaned up.  I wish all projects went that smoothly.   I thank my friend for referring Florida Comfort Control and I would definitely use them again.
