EXCELL GRANITE

Mylena at Excell Granite will go above and beyond to make sure your experience in purchasing a new counter top is excellent...hence the name of her company! We chose a beautiful calcite stone and the workers at Excell did a terrific job of cutting, polishing and installing. They were also very pleasant to work with. My husband and I have been cooking passionately for the past four months and our counter top looks like new. Calcite is beautiful and unique and we are so happy that we chose this stone. Unless you leave your cleanup for the next day I highly recommend this stone and Excell has beautiful slabs.

We had an outstanding experience replacing granite in our kitchen with Excell Marble and Granite. Their indoor showroom has a wide selection of exotic granite and marble. The hidden gem among all these gorgeous slabs of stone is Mylena Feiertag, the Vice-President of this family-owned company. We have done many kitchen and bath renovations over the past 20 years and have never worked with a better contractor. As a quarry owner Mylena is knowledgeable about the special fabrication issues of exotic granite. As a kitchen designer she can envision what design will be efficient and what materials will look good together. She is attentive to every detail, from concept to completion. I have worked with large granite yards in the past and found the staff far less invested in helping me find the ideal solution to my renovation project. Mylena came to my house to see the cabinets, flooring and décor in order to make sure the stone I had chosen was the best choice. Turnaround from slab to template, fabrication and installation was the fastest we’ve ever experienced, a matter of days, not weeks. Her granite crew is polite, hard-working, trustworthy and very service-oriented. They anticipated every potential problem and ensured the project was completed flawlessly. They were very gracious when, after a long day of installation, I asked that a backsplash be re-templated because I wished to change the design. My experience with Excell far exceeded my expectations.

GORGEOUS! I wanted a modern upscale designer look in updating my old condo.... I was nervous and not clear on what I wanted other than white modern cabinets. This was a big expense for me and I was very worried about problems.... Melina was great! She gave us great recommendations. Her prices were very fair as she offered some unique stones. I went all over looking... Came back to her over and over. She was patient with us and she has a great sense of style. To make bathrooms look larger we used the lit marble that glows and a clear glass vessel sink... I would have never chose this with out seeing it.... Just beautiful. Blue diamond it was called. It looks like white, blue and green crystals ... Very beachy. We had white modern gloss cabinets and wanted a contrast with a matte countertop. She had the nmost beautiful soapstone. We drove 200 miles to the only soapstone dealer in Florida and there was no comparison. Her price was the same or a little less. We met the fabricators. And both of them helped me to chose the cuts and the edging. These guys were great to us and came back to deal with fine details. I cannot say enough about these guys. They were very busy but took a lot of time to help me. I think it is important to talk with these guys as the did special mathing of the pattern to go up backsplash and make a special edge for me. They were very detailed oriented and very clean workers in my house. The designer helped me with faucets and sink selection. She gave me great ideas on cabinet and stone selections that look good together. I was really afraid of marble. My husband fell I love with a colored marble and truly we could find nothing to compare in other stores. We chose this for our island. The white cabinets allow it to stand out. The dark soapstone with its light vein pattern is a very elegant backdrop and a great material for the heavy duty work areas. I did a tremendous amount of research on different countertops and checked many local granite places . I went to Tampa and to less expensive places that work for ikea. There was some beautiful stuff but price was out of my reach.. Excell gave me a very good price for the upscale look I wanted. they are a family business and work as a team so installation was very coordinated. I saw photos of the lit onyx and marble for walls, backsplash and counters and it looked like something out an archetectural magazine.. I highly recommend them without reservation....would show picture if I could. I am so pleased. If you want a designer look at a reasonable price this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

After searching for just the right stone for my bathroom remodel and wet bar, I was referred to Excell Granite.  Upon entering the warehouse, I was very pleasantly surprised at the beauty and variety of stones available at Excell.  Then came the difficult part - choosing the right stone from so many exotic and unique granites, quartz, marble and onyx slabs.  Fortunately, Mylena, designer and owner, patiently helped me select not only the quartz for my countertops, but the tile, and cabinetry to finish the projects.  We are very satisfied with our newly remodeled bathroom and wet bar and have received numerous compliments.
All of the tradesmen that Mylena sent to my home were top-notch - tile setters, electricians and plumbers.  They called to make appointments, arrived on time (or called to let me know they were delayed).  The project took a little more time than originally proposed, but that is true of most remodeling jobs.
The combination of stunning stones, along with Mylena's patience and design experience made our experience with Excell Granite a very positive one. 

They set the time for measurements and did this on time stated. Also committed time for the work to be done and did so within that time period. Great quality and did what they said they would do when they would do it. Installed the counter tops on new cabinets and installed the sink with no issues or excuses.in

In a nutshell, this was a nightmare experience. A and quot;smalland quot; kitchen remodel ended up taking about 8 months. Everyone in the company was very nice, HOWEVER, when it came to actually getting the job done, it was very hectic and frustrating. There were many wasted days of nothing being done because of poor communication on companies part. After spending many months and a lot of money, owner/designer never made an attempt to come out and see the final project... the project still really isn't finished but nobody there seems to care. I would say it seemed like a first attempt at trying to do a kitchen remodel. The stones are beautiful but that is about it. I would advise to go elsewhere if you need anything more than just a piece of nice stone.

Excell had the most beautiful granite ( in our case quartz) and an exceptional selection of any one. The owners are charming and easy to work with. The one short fall was in the installation. They didn't do a careful site measurement and as a result the installation was flawed. They rammed the slab into place and chipped the edge in the most prominent area. addtionally there were misallignments at the edges. They did their best to rectify the damage with polymer inlay. Perhaps we are the only ones who notice. They need to train their templaters and installers to a higher standard of competance. We would hire them again because we feel once they are aware of these issues, they will correct the situation, they are a good group.

Absolute perfection from start to finish. Excell came out to template and then had us come down to look at the template on the granite.
The movement in the granite was matched perfectly, there are only 2 seams . All angles were rounded . Everyone asks who installed the granite because it was done so well.

The communication with Excell was excellent. They returned calls promptly and showed up at when they said they would.

Excell has granite in their blood and take great pride in what they do. I found the granite in Tampa and was asked who was going to install it because it had such movement.....when I told then Excel they said if anyone in the Tampa Bay area can install the granite to absolute perfection it was Roland and Excel Granite.

Roalnd, Mylena and all the people at Excel are a pleasure to deal with. I will be using them again to do my bathroom counters.

One installer never showed at the scheduled time. One installer was about 50 minutes late for the scheduled appointment (he never called, I called him). I finally had to go through the management to get someone to show to measure my counter. I picked out the exact granite slab I wanted for my counter top. But much to my dismay, the finished counter was installed with two to three different granite slabs so I am left with a counter that is three different colors.

I received info at the tropicana field home show and they have great prices. Other home stores were selling granite at $40+ a sq. Ft. and excell sells theirs for $29 a sq. Ft. I made a selection and have to call them back for installation. Very pleased.

THEY INSTALLED BRAZILIAN GRANITE. THE STONE CUTTERS ARE FROM BRAZIL. THEY KNOW HOW TO CUT IT AND WORK WITH GRANITE. THEY DID GOOD WORK!
