 + -1 moreThe house has non-square angles due to the original design making maximum use of available lot space. Contractor meticulously planned for the angles and an eleven foot countertop (without unsightly seams). The outcome exceeding expectations.
Description of Work: New kitchen, including cabinets, countertop, sink, backsplash, etc.

 + 0 moreThe carpenters who did the actual work on the house were very good about making suggestions which wouldn't add to the price but would make the addition look better. They were diligent about putting away their tools and materials at the end of each day. They were punctual and considerate about not making too much noise first thing in the morning. We are very pleased with the final work.
Description of Work: Added on to a section of the original house. They designed the addition to get as large addition as allowed. The carpenters who did the actual work on the house were very good about making suggestions which wouldn't add to the price but would make the addition look better. They were diligent about putting away their tools and materials at the end of each day. They were punctual and considerate about not making too much noise first thing in the morning. We are very pleased with the final work. I would definitely suggest that you give Douglas Building Contractors a chance to build your next project.

 + -1 moreWe bought an older house where the previous owners just went for the cheapest contractors they could get for whatever work needed to be done. Jim has come in and fixed major issues that low cost contractors caused. Great to work with as are all of his sub-contractors
Description of Work: He has done two jobs for us, flooding remediation in the garage and a complete remodeling and replacement of the air conditioning.

 + 0 moreJim Lingelbach helped plan an extensive remodel. He offered many suggestions. He lined up and oversaw the work of multiple sub-contractors. Every sub was on the job at the proper time. Jim performed work himself when appropriate .. he was more than just an overseer. The project progressed smoothly through completion
Description of Work: Plan and remodel front elevation and family room including paver driveway and walkway, banding, stucco, fireplace removal, hurricane replacement windows, front entrance, recessed lighting, new ceiling in family room, paint house, new soffit and facia.
