I thought the price was a little expensive, but I was moving so I didn't have a lot of time to look around. I found another individual that quoted me a lower price so since it was a company, I think the price was reasonable. They were very professional. They helped me chose colors. The only thing I asked for that I did not receive was a receipt.

Overall , including the 2 years since, I feel it was a horrible experience. Dorian seems to believe he is an artist, and charges accordingly. He is full of himself, I feel. Dorian paints houses, inside and out, he is not an artist.There are painters that are considered artists, Dorian is not one of them in my opinion.

This is the 2nd time I have used Dorian Levy and had great results. The first time was for my primary residence and this time was for a rental property. Dorian's prices are a bit on the high side compared to other quotes, but I felt good about using him. He does highly professional work; does not skimp. He's very responsive and customer-focused. Stands behind his estimate (even when our primary home turned out to be a MUCH bigger job than he originally anticipated). And when we had a problem with some of the window glazing on a few windows a year later, he came back and repainted every window in our house free of charge to handle the problem. He also has repair people and handymen to take care of problems. He has a fantastic carpenter who fixed some sagging brackets on our old home. They repaired concrete sills on our stucco home. Overall, I've been very pleased with Dorian's service.

RUN, DON'T WALK FROM THIS CONTRACTOR. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ON HIS WORK. HE SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THIS LIST. REBUTTAL: IN REGARD TO THE COMMENT REGARDING MY 90 YEAR OLD HOME, THERE IS NO LONGER (AND HAS NOT BEEN FOR 5 YEARS) ANY "CANOPY OF TREES". ALSO, THE HOUSE MILDEWED WHERE NO TREES WERE AND I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE IT. IF THE CONDITION OF THE HOUSE WAS IN SUCH "DIS-REPAIR" MR. LEVY SHOULD NOT HAVE PROMISED "PERFECTION" AS HE DID.

"This complaint is untruthful & completely unfounded. Member's home is 90 yrs. old in state of extreme disrepair. Home is also covered w/ canopy of trees encouraging moisture to remain on home throughout day allowing mildew growth to flourish on new paint job. Member complained about mildew growth & we returned, washed her home & advised her mildew growth is her responsibility to keep clean. Pointed out mold & mildew was growing on surfaces not painted showing mold & mildew not related to paint. Member exaggerated extent of peeling paint. True some areas showed small amounts not uncommon w/ older homes seriously neglected over time. We offered to repair few areas that were peeling. Member insisted only complete removal of all paint on entire house down to wood & another complete paint job would only be acceptable. This is unnecessary & unrealistic. We try very hard to please our customers. I am sorry to say we are not able to please this one."

OVER SPRAY ON PLANTS, PATIO AND FURNITURE. APPLIED LATEX PAINT WHILE IT WAS RAINING. LEFT A MESS EVERYWHERE. HAD A BLASE ATTITUDE TOWARDS OUR CONCERNS UNTIL I LOCKED THEIR EQUIPEMENT IN MY GARAGE. THEIR ATTITUDE IMPROVED BUT THE WORK WAS STILL OF LOW QUALITY.
