Depot Granite Marble & Tile

Kudos to Lali (our sales rep), Xavier (measuring guy), and Tonio and Alex (our installers) for outstanding work! To quote Tonio, all was 'perfect!' The guys fine-tuned the fit of our counters and waterfall effect to adjust for our less than perfect cabinet leveling effort and our 'not quite there' preparation for Xavier's laser measuring. It took some tweaking, shims, and cutting, but, yes, Tonio, it came out perfect. Thank you. Another special thanks to Lali and the workshop guys for noticing some stone coloration issues before bringing out the material, giving us the option of picking a new stone or accepting a discount. We might not have noticed the issue right away and been annoyed down the road. As is, we happily accepted the discount and will place a bowl or two strategically while spending the extra $$ on the rest of the remodeling laundry list. This is the 2nd time we used Depot Granite for home remodeling (we sold the 1st one for a nice profit). Very satisfied! Thanks again, guys (and gal)!

The installation was problematic. The breaking point was when they drilled an extra hole around the sink. They claimed we told them to do it (we did not - we specifically said 2, a one hole faucet and a soap dispenser). It cost us an extra $250 to have the hole filled with a pressure switch and depot granite told us several times they would reimburse us for this. They never reimbursed us. They did not return calls, they did not follow through. I would never use them again, and I would not recommed anyone else use them.

The entire process was extremely easy and "Consumer" friendly. From picking granite at the yard, to the worker arriving for measurements to the install. Depot Granite made the entire process smooth and easy. Turn around time was extremely quick would have been within 7 days from selecting slab(s) had the hurricane not come through. Cost was well worth the service and installation.

Great! selected the granite, made down-payment installed new counters that week they measured next week, they installed A matter of about six days !

The fabrication and installation went very smoothly. The staff was very helpful in selecting the slabs and in working with us on the layout. The template was made within a day or two after we placed the order. The installation was right on schedule, done within a day. The staff throughout was very professional and very pleasant to work with. We had a seam pop because the countertops were installed over our existing cabinets, which were not completely level. They repaired the seam promptly without any charge. They also came back to polish around the seam where some epoxy had slightly dulled the finish. All of this was done very willingly and professionally.

Good selection of granite. Should have walked away after talking to first salesperson. We were just looking for a small piece for a single vanity. She told us to go around the corner to look but said she did not think we could find the location. We came back and she said, "told you you couldn't find it". We started to leave and ran into Lewis who asked if we had been helped. We told him no and explained the situation. At that point, he took us around and helped us. Later we were scheduled to have the template made. No one showed up. When we called the next business day we were told they did not work that day and should not have been scheduled. No sorry and no reschedule offer until I asked. Then, the week prior to install we got a call saying they could not find our granite. Finally we had to return to the store and select another piece. After the installation, the bill was presented and did not reflect the deposit we had made. So another call to the store had to be made to get that straight. Bottom line at this place, you get the feeling they have no idea what good customer service looks like or simply don't care. In the end, the granite was cut and installed correctly.

Upon the time Anthonio and crew arrived you could see how professional, hardworking and respective they were. Worked on install for 10 hours and did a wonderful and clean job. I never write a review and use this service a lot being Angie's customer for years. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking for granite, marble, etc. great group of professionals to work with!

I searched for weeks for granite counters for my kitchen and bathrooms. I encountered many stores during that time were too busy to help me or not interested.  I can't express how happy I was to be recommended by a friend to visit Depot Granite. Not only were they interested in helping me, Maria walked me through every step  of the way and was willing to share her knowledge of interior design and create my dream kitchen with the beautiful counters. We bought a quartz countertop from them in November, 2015.  The quartz came from overseas and was languishing in customs while our contractor waited.  We contacted the store and expressed our concern for the hold-up by customs.  Maria at Granite Depot had us come in to choose an alternate quartz slab.  The one we chose was more expensive than the one we originally ordered.  Maria waived the difference in price and promised that the countertop would be installed in a few days.  We were ecstatic.  They came with the slab as promised and installed it.  They were extremely professional.  Overall, they were more cost effective and professional than any of the granite/quartz stores with which I had dealt in the past.  I HIGHLY recommend them.

The reason for this review concerned my search for a decent cleaner for my countertop.  Most did not have the proper chemicals to clean the counter top:  They were either ineffective or contained chemicals that could have harmed the quartz.  Maria recommended a cleaner that was both effective and safe.  She even gave a demonstration.  I was impressed and bought it immediately.

I gave her my debit card to pay for it, but it did not go through (not her fault).  It appeared to be a problem with the SouthEast Switch (a good banker would know what that is).  She tried at least 6-7 times to get it to work, but the transaction was canceled each time.  This also happened with my other cards.

She could have sent me on my way, suggesting I return when the switch was working (I assumed that was the problem).  Instead, she gave me the can of cleaner and told me to have a great day.

I am indebted to Maria for her generous gesture and will be back again in the not-too-distant future.

Skip the other marble/granite/tile providers and head directly to Depot Granite for a fabulous experience.  Ask for Maria Wood.  She is fantastic!  Maria instantly welcomed us, listened to what we needed, and helped us every step of the way, including suggesting design options and finding ways to get the best product for the money.   The experience was so pleasant, we started thinking of other projects just so we could use this company again.

Our order was ready within 5 days.

We picked up our marble, and was assisted by Debbie. who welcomed us immediately and was very pleasant and helpful.  The guys in the back loaded our two pieces into our truck with extreme care.  I noticed a scratch on one piece of marble, and they immediately unloaded the piece and polished out the scratch.

We were impressed with the consistency of customer care during each visit (as well as a phone call to check on the progress).  We highly recommend Depot Granite for selection, pricing, workmanship, and customer care.  Thank you, thank you, thank you, Maria and Depot Granite!

Fantastic, Debbie was particularly helpful. She convinced me not to try some exotic designate the installers were on time, factious, and the job was perfect. We love the way the granite upgrades our condo.

There was  little snag in that the original installation had a hairline crack, but after it was pointed out they replaced it.

The installers were excellent. I have been told that the standard for granite/quartz installers is they move on from company to company the main installer told me he has been with the company for many years (do not remember the length)

Depot Granite did an overall great job. They were very helpful when we were shopping for granite. We worked with Hector and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. They were very responsive when scheduling the template, and delivered & installed the granite within 1 week. Installation went very smooth. End result is it looks great and we are veery happy we chose to work with Depot Granite.

It began with excellent service from the folks at granite depot. From Louie to Millie they were very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. They proved many options in style and cost. Their inventory of granite was outstanding as were the selections of cabinets. I was given the option to get my own installation or I could use their installers. Fortunately, I chose to use their men. A date was set and Jo'el and his brother Richard and another man came as promised to remove the existing cabinets, plumbing and countertops. This was done very efficiently and all material was taken away. The same day they installed the cabinets and measured for the granite countertops. They ten returned 3 days later to complete the installation. The work was excellent, their attitudes were highly professional, and were extremely courteous to us. They stayed and finished the job that day.
I would not hesitate using the company and the installers again and would recommend them to others as well.

The work is good, but be sure to measure your installed product and
recalculate the square footage.  I found the overcharged me and did not
even attempt to explain it as a mistake.  They just wrote me a check for
I calculated.  It is inexcusable that someone  in that business would
not know how to figure square footage.
