"These comments are baseless. Our company only removed the original decking and replaced it with composite materials. The decks were originally built in 1982, so they were 18 years old at the time we re-decked them. Collins Construction recommended that the deck frames also be replaced but the customer made the decision not to. The client's expectations were that the decks would look like a newly built deck, when all of the original framing was visible and the existing settling couldn't be corrected without replacing the deck frame, which was beyond the contractors control. We still have the satisfactory completed form (and pictures of the completed job), which the client signed, at the completion of the job. We will make these available to any interested parties upon request. Angiie's list agreed to take this report down in 2001 but never did, in their struggle to be relevant perhaps.
