Coastal Glass & Mirror

Made continual excuses for not showing up at appointed  times. One worker dropped glass and said he didn't know he did it. Overpriced for actual work done. Took much too long due to inexperienced worker.

We have used Coastal Glass and Mirror. The first time we ordered two bathroom mirrors and it took forever to get them done and installed. Called back and forth for weeks. We thought it was just a one time issue. The second time we used them they installed three bathroom mirrors and a shower door. it was perfect. They measured and installed within the required and said time. This time we ordered just one bathroom mirror to be etched. The guy came out to measure told us it would only take one week. We expected it to be installed in one week. After one week we called and the lady who answered said she was busy, the store was busy and so were the installers. She doesn't know what the measure person said and she didn't know when the mirror would be ready. Another week goes by and now the response it that a part is missing on the machine they need to use to etch the image on the mirror. Again she doesn't know when it will be ready and she's busy and there's no time to talk to the owner because everything goes through her. She did say she would have the owner call us. The timing is very poor and this will be the last time we use this particular contractor.

They cut and attached a new mirror to the front of our medicine cabinet. They did the job quickly and at a very reasonable price, and it just as good as before, you would never know that it had been repaired.

Terrible service and terrible job. Have to hire new contractor to start all over again because too hard to get them to even come out to fix the problem they caused! Terrible receptionist too. Rude!

The project was delayed several times due to other contractors being behind on their work. Coastal honored the pricing and installed the mirrors as agreed. The shower door and panel were delayed due to not being ordered on time ( one of the workers left a drawing with this information, that someone forgot to order it) and a lack of communication on the door handle, I left messages for confirmation of installation and the correct handle with no return calls. But, I am happy with the final result, and am waiting for a "spacer" on the door to keep water in.

Except for being told, "I'll get back to you" a few times when trying to make an appointment for installation, everything else went well. Just had my bathroom tile and tub relglazed. I asked Jason to please be careful of this and he was. Left the bathroom neat and clean.

I was very satisfied. They returned phone calls, arrived on time for the estimate and the installers (showed up a day early) did a wonderful job and were very pleasant in general. I would definitely not hesitate to call them again.

Estimator came out same day I called to measure. We received a phone call shortly thereafter providing us with estimate and installation date/time. Approximately 1 hour past scheduled arrival, I called the shop - the estimator had apparently forgotten to have the mirrors cut, and so the installation had to be rescheduled. The installers came out on the rescheduled installation date and did an OK job.

They did what they said, were on time, and charged what they said they would.

Jason came to measure the two walls within a day of my call. The mirrors were brought 4 workdays later, and the two men did a clean and good job installing them. They even helped me with the light fixture to make sure I wouldn't damage the new mirror.

Jason came out the day I called for a free estimate and gave me several options and ideas to think about. He called the next day with a quote, that was cheaper than another glass company I had already called. Two workers came on the day as promised. One seemed a bit more knowledgeable than than other and his workmanship was better. They each did a door. I was pleased with the final outcome, it really updated my bathroom by getting rid of the old (20 years) aluminum, frosted doors.

They were clean, concerned with keeping our home clean, concerned with conforming to our initial desire with salesman who wrote up contract and professional in follow-up to our satisfaction. We will use them in the future without reservation.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY CAME OUT TO PICK UP THE OLD MIRROR, MEASURE THE FRAME TO DETERMINE THE CUT SIZE, AND MADE THE CUT PERFECTLY. I WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY WERE NOT OPEN WHEN I WENT TO PICK UP THE MIRROR EVEN THOUGH THEIR SIGN SAID THEY SHOULD BE OPEN.
