Eric was communicative and very easy to schedule with. They were efficient and did a thorough job. There were a couple mistakes that were made, but Eric was more than willing to come out himself and get things fixed and make it right.

Eric and his crew were a pleasure to work with. He scheduled a day/time to come review the job. He was right on time! He kept in communication with his quote which was extremely reasonable, the timing of the job, and what we wanted for paint colors, etc. He uses high quality Sherwin Williams paint. On the first day of the job, he arrived with his crew, Eddie, Kurt and Mark to review the job with them. The guys were very professional, friendly, and paid attention to all the details. They cleaned up at the end of the day before leaving. They did an amazing job painting our condo.

This was our third job with Eric & his guys, Eddie, Kurt & Mark. Without a doubt, these are professional painters who leave you happy and satisfied that you got your money's worth. There are painters and then there are professional painters, and the latter applies to Carlson Proficient Painting, INC. We enjoy our house now (more) every day with a fresh coat of paint. Eric and his crew are top notch! Very detail oriented and they do it right ! Painted my whole house and sealed it because it’s a block home, it looks awesome! My wife and I are very happy with the results , they are very prompt , showing up at 8 am and working never goofing off like some companies employees today, not once did I see anyone on their phone or slacking , they work ! I highly recommend them and will use them again for other projects besides painting . Don’t even bother getting other estimates just call Eric Carlson !

Carlsons did a great job outside painting our home. Also painted our pool screen enclosure and our cool deck. In addition they added a small fence section to hide garbage containers and AC unit. We also had an outside bathroom door replaced and painted. Carlsons team did a great job. There were a few minor things that needed retouch, I pointed them out and they came back and satisfactorily retouched everything we pointed out. I highly recommend them.

Everything I wanted and more, for sure! This job was to paint the interior of my entire house, including the repair of many cracks and signs of settling that come with an older home. The transformation is incredible! Eric's team were here right on time every morning and knocked out the work in the time planned and for the price estimated. What most impressed me was the respectful, considerate nature of every person. Eric was super responsive to my calls and questions; his team was wonderfully considerate of the fact that I was living in the house during the week they were there. They took very good care to make sure to clean up along the way, plus, they are all nice, good people - it matters! Thank you!

this was a fabulous job. the painters were very professional, quiet, and responsive to our needs. they arrived promptly, performed a full days work, cleaned up and you wouldn’t know they had been there. highly recommend them. they also liked our dogs!

Extremely well. They were very accommodating and repainted a portion of my garage that I wanted to add more accent color. The lain enclosure looked brand new!!!

Did a good thorough job with no delays. A bracket and an old phone box didn’t get removes as expected...they were painted over, but these were small items compared to the excellence of the whole job.

Hiring Carlson’s Proficient Painting was an excellent experience from beginning to end. I was impressed by their professionalism, expertise, and pride in doing the job right — down to the tiniest detail. My 60-year-old house now looks sleek and beautiful and updated and is getting lots of compliments. I got multiple estimates, and Carlson’s was the best value. Their price was reasonable, they use substantially better quality paint (the highest grade of Sherwin Williams), and their written estimate thoroughly detailed every step of the process. Eric, the owner of Carlson’s, was a stand out. He spent a lot of time going around my house discussing its issues and offering solutions that the other companies did not have. I decided not only to have the house and an outdoor shed painted, but also the pool cage pressure-washed and the pool deck and an extended slab along the side of the house painted. Also, I opted to have the aluminum frame of my screened porch repainted, a rain diverter installed along one area, and some rotted wood replaced. Carlson’s three-man team of LeRon, Kirk and Brandon were experienced craftsmen (artists, really) who went above and beyond to make everything perfect and to offer suggestions here and there that really helped. They were a joy to work with, always accommodating and helpful in responding to any question or issue I brought up. I can’t remember when I’ve had such a positive experience with a company. I highly recommend them.

EXCELLENT! Eric and his crew did a fantastic job, especially considering that the cedar siding project was a "last minute find" when we discovered that the original 50yr old siding was deteriorating. Eric explained everything every step of the way and was personally involved throughout, including numerous onsite visits to check on his crew. The added advantage to Eric being a contractor is that we didn't have to sub out the work on the siding. Excellent work, and the house looks beautiful. Reasonable pricing, especially considering all the work that was done. Would hire again in a heartbeat, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Professional team of 5 painters for 2 days. Great job prepping and painting over oil paint to Latex. Looks great. The crew were all very nice and polite.

Eric was able to get to the job faster than I had expected which was wonderful. His men are very proficient at their jobs. The house prior to Eric and his men looked just awful. They power washed to remove all the mould and removed all the flaking paint by scraping. Then they applied an elastomeric patch to all cracks. They then filled the cracks and caulked where necessary and all windows. Then after this they applied a sealer to bond all top coats. They then applied two coats of mould and mildew resistance paint. They also did a wonderful job reviving a side door. I can’t express how happy I am with the job Eric and his crew did, they were punctual, clean and did a fantastic job. I thank them very much and will definitely use them again in the future.

After calling multiple painters/companies and being told there was a minimum for the painters for come out. I contacted Eric. When I explained to him my project - he came over and looked at the project. I also mentioned several other “down the road “ jobs. I quickly had a very well written and detailed estimate. The job was quickly scheduled and competed. The crew did all the prep work and cleaned up when finished. I am very satisfied. Extremely happy with the how everything turned out. Kirk and Eric were great to work with. I really appreciated Eric coming to the job site and making sure everything had been completed to my satisfaction. I will use him again.

The owner of the company is great and knows the business well. It's the crew he hires to do the actual work that is disappointing. While the painting done was professional in most cases, there are some mistakes that we'll live with and some details he promised to come back and fix and never did. I wouldn't hire him again primarily for the lack of follow-through. His crew was inconsistent, though in fairness one or two guys that passed through were good.
