+ -1 moreDad gets upset with son on job. Then the son will lie to cover his tracks with dad by denying that you discussed something with him or changing the facts. This happened to us. We ended up with bare cabinet doors attached to finished cabinets. This was not a pretty finished product. Write down everything that works in the work area before they start and have them sign off that it works prior to starting, because if it doesn't work later they won't take responsibility. All ceiling lights and switches worked prior to Boswells starting. Now approx 40% of ceiling lights in work area will not come on. They use the following justification for leaving 40% non-working lights. Quote: While changing the switch in front room at west wall, we noticed bare wires behind switch. This is in need of electrician. We were surprised by their audacity/lack of personal integrity they showed by going through our refrigerator without being invited or even asking and helping themselves to our stuff.
Description of Work: They painted, assembled closet shelves, electric switches and fan replacement, cabinet door replaced. Work quality lacks any style or common sense, and especially lacking attention to details. Work product is very mediocre. No quality to any of it. You will need to write up details beyond any common practice to protect yourself. Pricing-Material Allowances: You go over you pay. BUT if you are under, they keep the difference. Other price adjustments (always up, never down). If they advise that something will be very hard or look very bad (they don t tell you this until they have priced it in and you have signed)they will remove work, but not adjust price. If you don't sign change order, they will do the work. You may wish you had signed off not have it done. Providing pictures/drawings of what you want: They have a way of disappearing. Boswells won't remember seeing them. This happened to us. If you give pictures have them sign your copy (don't leave your copy lying around).

Description of Work: We had extensive termite damage and was selling our home. Rick repaired an entire wall in our garage and went out of his way to do it in the most cost efficient way possible. Quick, clean, dependable. Well have him do work on our new house. Great!
