If you have an emergency type thing he's really good at that. He'd come right at it. He is very personable. Very nice person.

Very positive experience. Bob and his helper put in a new water heater which given its location was a complicate task. The quote and final price contemplated that. The job took 4.5 hours to complete, more, I am sure, than they had expected, but they kept the original quote. Part of the time was because some of the plumbing being connected caused a failure and leak in another location due to prior poor quality work. That caused a partial rework of the install. However, they plodded on until the install was completed in a thoroughly professional manner. Bob is in demand and I can see why: professional, through, quality work, and a good humor to go with it. I will use him again.

Great! He& his helper brought 2 different faucets for me to choose from& after inspecting my sink, recommended which he thought was best choice.( cheaper of the two). I had warned him ahead of time that everything in this house was “jimmy rigged“ and to expect that . I have owned this house 30 years and everything, from plumbing to roof repair, was never “ up to code” or had been repaired or replaced the wrong way,so I expected problems . Sure enough, the plumbing had been “rigged “ and even though it took more time than normal to do the job, Bob only charged me for one hour labor and both he and his partner, were so pleasant! I have used another service for years and we’re never completely pleased with them or their prices and would’ve never chosen this particular plumber on my own. Thank you Angie’s List: for referring me to a great plumber and providing a needed service . I would recommend him to my friends and hire him over again in a second ! Debra Hunter

Bob fixed it in about 5 minutes. Bob is old school and a class act. He responded quickly and made time in his busy schedule. He was on the job in 3 hours after a call. No hassle and no fuss. How it should be. Will definitely use him again.

Bob arrived when planned (15 minutes early even). He had to spend more time than expected because our current (dead) water heater had lasted many years more than expected and Bob had to set up the new system differently. He still charged the same estimated price (which was a very fair price). To be honest, they left the area cleaner than it was when they started. Ha! I also enjoy Bob's sense of humor. It's good to have someone you can rely on to know what they are doing. We had to wait several days, and take cold showers (not fun) because he's in high demand.

It took a couple calls to get Bob Hyps scheduled for an estimate, but once he came out, the service and response was very good. His price was much less than the other estimate I received, and the final cost = the quote. Bob didn't do the work, his two man team did. They were knowledgeable, professional, and worked quickly. We were extremely satisfied with the service and have had no problems with the unit they installed

The previous plumber had used PVC, and it had burst. I called Bob, and he was able to make an appointment for that afternoon. He arrived early, and said the pipe should be copper, because of the high heat from the hot water heater. He replaced the PVC with copper, tightened everything up, and nary a drop since! He and his helper were very thorough, friendly and professional, and cleaned up when they were finished so you did not even know they had been there. Price was very fair, and I would definitely hire Bob again.

I first called Bob spoke to his wife explained the problem. I explained I needed to it completed rather quickly so that the home could pass the 4 point inspection. Bob called me back promptly, he was able to fit me into his schedule as soon as the next day. David called me the next morning informing me he was on his way and provided an expected arrival time. He took the time to understand my problem, he educated me on the importance of the corrections needed to be made. He was prompt, polite, and courteous. He explained all the work he did upon completion and made sure I understood everything he did and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend Bob Hyp's plumbing based upon my entire experience I had. Beginning with Bob's quick call back response and ending with David's workmanship and exceptional service.

Really well. Very responsive, complete professionals, and genuinely good people. I could tell they genuinely liked and respected each other and that translated into how they worked and interacted with me. I just wish I could hire Bob, Dave, and John to everything.

He was fast, understanding, and courteous. He empathize with my situation and got everything handled in under a half hour.

He was well and good. He was on time and he did what he would do and he did a good job. My husband was very pleased. The only thing that was bad was he likes to talk, he is friendly. But, other than that, nothing bad.
