Hired Joe at blue water marine to fix my XPD outdrive, paid my bill when asked. The boat was picked up at my marina and transported around October. I didn't get my boat back until late December. Was told he lost employees around thanksgiving which put him behind schedule. Finally got my boat back at my marina at the end of December. Took over 3 months to have it repaired. Meanwhile I had it listed for sale so that period it was taking so long to fix cost me some potential buyers. So I get it back and let me tell you folks- it was a total disgrace!! It looked as if it was abandoned in a swamp for 4 months. There was a nasty scum/water line around the entire exterior of the boat. Took me a full day of scrubbing to remove it. The interior was full of stagnant water, rotting leaves and black dirt. There was also racoon damage to the expensive SeaDek padding. My wife cried when she say the level of damage and filth. Took us three days of back breaking cleaning to get the boat back to the condition it was back in October. I've included some pics (only 10), I have many more but 10 is the limit I can attach. When I confronted joe about this- of course he denied any responsibility and dismissed my accusations of what happened. He HAD TO HAVE SEEN the filth and varmint damage when he put the cover back on. AND there is now a 13 inch rip in the boat cover that they did. Covers for boats cost at least a 1000 for this size cruiser. My boat broker has had to LOWER the asking price due to their incompetence and reprehensible damage. DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR BOAT TO THIS HORSES ***!

Excellent service call from Blue Water Marine. They promised and delievered everything from the appointment to fixing my problem. The only thing I hold off high praise is the charge for "travel time" charged for dockside appointments. While labor is billed out at $90.00 per hour (which is completly fair considering how complex Volvo makes their products) I do not feel that the same $90.00 per hour should apply to travel time. Other than that you will get excellent service, prompt and professional looking service staff and hopefully be boating that same day. The only reason I gave them a B as a grade on the price was due to the service charge cost being the same as the labor cost.
