They tested the driving of the truck and then told me what it was doing which I knew already.I told them to rotate the tires and then high speed balance when I saw they performed that type balance. They cleaned the brake calipers and adjust the rear brakes( which Tommys Auto did not do) and when they were finished they tested the truck and then I paid them and then I went and tested it myself. It did not pull anymore and it stopped much better than when I first brought it to them. After I drove it to Brooksville I noticed that the balance was off at 55 to 75 mph. I took it back and they fixed this. I recommend them because of their help in looking up tires and other questions I had. Made me feel better about who was working on my vehicle.

Took my 2007 toyota in for an oil change and to check the engine (light was on). Of course, the light went off just prior to dropping off the car so Big John told me that he'd look the car over thoroughly but to hold off on engine diagnostics for a while.
Made some suggestions as to items to look out for going forward - no pressure and no hard sell approach. Went ahead with suggestion for new break pads. All done on time and at price quoted. Received courtesy call to pick-up vehicle. Very friendly, professional team. Happy to consider them my new home town mechanics!
Don't recall what the total was but it was inline with what my trusted old hometown mechanic would have charged.

They always do their best to help right away, no appt necessary.

Phone was answered promptly. Service was scheduled easily and work was completed on time. In my assessment above I indicated quality was N/A only because I have not had an opportunity to road test the vehicle to see if the tires squeal around corners as they did before I had the work done. On the drive home I noted no problems. The staff was friendly and helpful and very, very fast in the service.

We've used this provider for 20 years.  Johnny is excellent, careful and conscientious.  Great guy and greater mechanic.  If he can't fix it, he'll tell you.  Always get owner consent before proceeding. Highest recommendation!

OMG....fast efficient, kind and caring. The work came in below estimate. The stand by their estimate with no surprises. The time they take to diagnose problems is painstakingly cautious. Rather than a quick diagnosis and estimate, they will actually DRIVE the car and listen to the  sounds. I am a nurse and every sound my car makes is odd to me....but when a new sound occurs, I describe it, they jump in and pnpoint the source......and repair it at the time.....I recomend this team of fine auto magicians to EVERYONE!!

I was told by Sears that I needed over $1800.00 in services or "you will lose control of the car and die and probably kill someone"  I took the car to Tom Katz and he told me to take it to Big Johns for an alignment.......
OMG TWO honest mechanics.......Big Johns was an amazing experience. They actually DROVE my car and diagnosed the problem....then showed me what I needed repaired in the future.........I LOVE these guys and will make sure that I pass their cards to everyone with a car.

Excellent! They were polite and professional when I scheduled the appointment and dropped off the 1999 Toyota minivan . The mechanic ask what I wanted done and explained what he was going to do and how much it would cost. He called when the work was finished and had the car waiting when I arrived to pick it up. An appointment was necessary and when I arrived they were ready to work on the vehicle. Very professional and they always do a great job.

After my regular mechanic installed new ball joints, he recommended Big John's for alignment. They were very courteous and completed the job in one hour.
