 + 6 moreThe work was well done thanks to their foereman, Scotty Marklin who went over and above the call of duty to help in the circumstances. However, things tuned sour when I found out that they had not paid the plumbing subcontractor who treatened to place a lien on our property as he was unable to get payment from Bay Vista eventhough I had paid Bay Vista in full. My repeated phone calls and messages to Bay Vista have all remained unanswered and I will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau to complain about their scammy practice. Hence the "F" rating.
Description of Work: The company was to act as the general contractor for the remodeling of our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Between the time the contract was awarded and the time work started, the company's owner started to work on another job and had no time to take care of mine. His girlfriend ended up beeing my everyday interface although I ended up chasing sub-contractors most of the time.

 + 0 moreUnfortunately, I was not able to utilize their service. My financial situation changed shortly after meeting with them, so for now I put my project on hold. Once everything gets better again, I look very forward to inviting them back to build the dream kitchen I have always wanted. Thank you again Kristy and Brian...your the best!
Description of Work: Kristy and Brian are top notch professionals to a tee! They were very professional at all time and really made me feel relaxed and at ease when we discussed all options for my home. Kristy and Brian took their time explaining every detail I requested and made sure I had the comfort level I needed to make the decisions necessary to take care of my home. There was no pressure, no "salesman pitch", just good old fashion customer service you rarely see these days. I am so glad I found them.

 + -1 moreMr. Perry and two helpers Chet and Charlie showed up and did a marvelous job for me. It was not an easy challenge as Chet had to crawl sixty feet through scissor trusts to get to the far gable end. I had him take photos with my camera that I will submit to my insurance company for a deduction on my insurance costs. From the owner to the workers there was a can do attitude and they cheerfully performed this task.
Description of Work: It was suggested by my insurance company that I have the gable ends of my home braced. I chose Brian Perry's company - Bay Vista to perform this work for me after reading about him on Angie's List. I asked him what types of building he does and he performs everything from remodels to helping a homeowner like me to harden my home against hurricanes. Brian's wife was most pleasant and responsible in scheduling work and ironing out the details.

 + 9 moreA job this big was estimated to take three months. The job was completed two weeks ahead of schedule with no cost overrides. They gave us a good, competitive bid and did excellent work. There were no problems with any of the inspections from start to finish. The inspectors even commented about the quality of work. We will use them in the future and highly recommend them to anyone. My family thinks of them as friends.
Description of Work: Brian Perry, president of Bay Vista, built a large addition onto the back of our house. They had to remove some existing exterior windows, rebuild the wall and create a doorway into the new area. The job included four rooms, a bath and a wet bar area. Brian did the complete job from start to finish. His crew did all of the framing, flooring, setting doors and cabinets and even the painting. He subbed out the electrical, plumbing, drywall and air conditioning. His crew and all of the sub-contractors were very professional and skilled in their trade. Brian and Christy pulled all permits and managed the overall construction very well and in a timely manner.
