Bay Family Home Builders of Florida LLC

To make a very long story as short as possible – after agreeing to scope of work, price and start date, Christopher Coheley the owner provided us a contract. When the time came to start the project he said he was too busy but hired a project manager who ended up being charging us the full amount and only completing a fraction of the work and then abandoned the job. Christopher / Bay Family Home Builders of Florida LLC was the contractor that pulled the license and was supposed to be overseeing the project manager. However, when we contacted him about the issue, he had no idea what was going on. He came to look and said that he would like to “help” but that he could not afford to pay for the missing materials or pay for the labor required to complete the job. We ended up having to pay the entire amount again to new contractors to finish the job. I would not recommend hiring Christopher or Bay Family Home Builders. I am attaching photos of how the job was left after we paid the full contracted amount. I am putting the cost of the work below. The project was supposed to be $55k and we ended up paying double that once we paid for the work to actually be completed by other competent contractors.
